excuse me, but i believe he's made it very clear that he drinks with two hands so as not to sully that very tie which you are demeaning here! surely there would have been no need for a kleenex? at least, for the tie?
I have to admit that even a year ago if someone told me that one risk of Trump's strange fealty to Putin was that Putin could actually carry out an act of war against us--like by paying mercenaries to kill our troops--was that Trump would just let it happen and continue to push Russian foreign policy goals. I'd have said that THAT was maybe a bridge too far, Trump wouldn't be able to be THAT brazen, or his own government would balk.
Sadly, this is where we are. A treasonous president, reacting to a thug killing our fighting soldiers by cozying up to that thug and raising not a tiny finger to protest or protect our troops. And a government that just let it happen.
Start another impeachment inquiry. Keep this story in the news, if nothing else. And maybe put Trump in the history books as the first president to be twice impeached, before losing a landslide re-election.
Yes, GWB was intent on getting Hussein come hell or high water despite evidence Iraq was not responsible for the 9/11 attack. I am positive it was a forthright diversion to obscure the fact that it was funded in part by Saudi Arabia, and financial ties to the binLaden family over the truth. This is on a par with that as it is a direct act of aggression by Russia. It's an act of war. Nothing less.
I think Bush and the Bushies did do it for the reasons you say. I also believe that for Bush himself the main reason, and maybe for the others too, like Cheney (who pretty much WAS the President in those days), was desperation to at least look as though they were doing something decisive to avenge the twin towers atrocity. They had to bring someone to account. For political reasons, and oil reasons, they couldn't even make a complaint to Saudi Arabia, let alone do anything tougher. They couldn't find Osama bin Laden quickly enough, and there were even batshit conspiracy theories taking off (when are there not?) that the U.S. government itself had destroyed the trade centre for some inscrutable reason. The only available person to cast as the 9/11 villain that it was also geopolitically possible to attack with full military might was Saddam Hussein, so, Saddam, you are our fall guy or Bush won't be re-elected. Sorry about that but you're a bastard anyway.Just watch the Trump team's farrago of lies now. They'll rival Bush and Cheney.
No perfect agreement among intelligence agencies? There is NEVER anything close to "perfect agreement" among intelligence agencies. Shit, they were still arguing on D-Day.
And who cares whether there was "perfect agreement"? Shouldn't we expect our President to, oh, I don't know, STOP LOBBYING for Russia if this were even suspected? Or, maybe not withdraw 25,000 U.S. troops from Germany -- a giant gift to Putin -- if this were even suspected? Or maybe just confront the Russians about it??? None of which happened. Let's not let Drumpf's myrmidons muddy the waters here.

ya know, i had considered a lot of people for the AG spot, but never hillary. i like it!
I agree with you. My point is that we shouldn't be surprised by Russia doing this.

The lies begin when these people wake up in the morning.

Yes! trump is vulgar. making explicit and offensive reference to sex or bodily functions; coarse and rude. It is what he is and what he does.

They lie in their dreams.

There truly is no bottom.

Imagine how bad the crime evidence is, in the hidden White House classified server ? Someday, some of it will be made public.
Well to be fair we bought the Soviet Union with C notes in 91.They have to spend those someplace.
