Jay Carney said, and I quote "no one in the White House spends any time thinking." This is a true quote, directly. Ha Ha, ZING! Good one, you must admit!

This is why I would say, in my psychiatric analysis capability, Jay Carney is saying in truth that he, and Barack Obama, has no brain at all. They have suffered their entire lives being the butt of criticism, because of their dumbness. Jay Carny is not smart and knows it. Jay Carney also only wants to be so harshly critical of my very effective psychiatric analysis because he is incredibly jealous of my stunningly amazing career, which is so much more amazing and credible than Jay Carney, whoever that guy is, I've never even heard of him. Who? I am insulted you would ask me about someone that I don't even know, who probably hasn't got a brain, and is handicapped, and jealous. And bitter. It's sad, his bitter spitefulness. He only wants to hurt me, by pretending he doesn't know who I am, which only a totally mentally handicapped person would do. This is why I don't even know who you are talking about.

OK this is a little confusing. The American <em>Psychological</em> Association says you can only file complaints against members through them. The American <em>Psychiatric</em> Association, to which MA appears to make Ablow answerable, has their complaints procedure attached to the end of the <a href="http:\/\/www.psychiatry.org\/File%20Library\/Practice\/Ethics%20Documents\/principles2013--final.pdf" target="_blank">PDF with the ethical standards</a>. While they don't say it explicitly, the wording of their procedure implies that they, too, only handle complaints against members.

But they do say things like this:

<blockquote>psychiatrists should avoid cloaking their public statements with the authority of the profession</blockquote>

<blockquote>On occasion psychiatrists are asked for an opinion about an individual who is in the light of public attention or who has disclosed information about himself/herself through public media. In such circumstances, a psychiatrist may share with the public his or her expertise about psychiatric issues in general. However, <b>it is unethical for a psychiatrist to offer a professional opinion unless he or she has conducted an examination</b> and has been granted proper authorization for such a statement.</blockquote>

Speaking of self-oblivious, earlier this year he <a href="http:\/\/elitedaily.com\/news\/world\/lipartystories-awful-fox-news-keith-ablow-lose-medical-license-response\/" target="_blank">"diagnosed" every teen on Long Island with narcissistic personality disorder</a>. And advocated for a course of "treatment" radically at odds with professional best practice. Ethical!

It's interesting how stirred up some people are getting by Dr. Ablow's assertions. It seems like a part of you thinks he might actually be right. The more you curse and try to put him down, the more you probably feel threatened by him, and are trying to mask your fear that he may be right. And more so, that you might be wrong.-Psychologist

Has Ablow ever been invited to the FOX Brain Room? I don't think even they will take him.

So... he spurned the APA because he couldn't abide by its code of ethics... I understand that he still practices (which implies that he inexplicably still has people choosing to be his patients, although, I guess they <em>are</em> crazy people so...), which raises the question: who licenses him, and what is their code of ethics and their procedure for filing complaints?

Because this TV quackery diagnosing people he's never met let alone evaluated is <strong>seriously</strong> fucking unethical, by any standard.

Hey AP, we Wonkers have already established that Keith is not merely a bad human, but bad for humanity itself.

There's nothing I can say about this guy that you don't already know. I might add "psychopath" , i.e. antisocial personality disorder to narcissistic. He is clearly out for himself, doesn't care about the fate of others that he might be harming and has no capacity for guilt or shame.
