Why aren't the cops citing these idiots for wasting their time, tax payer's dollars, etc? That's the only way these numbskulls will learn. There needs to be some consequence for this. Especially for repeat offenders like Braasch, let them pay a hefty fine.

And aren't the cops themselves tired of constantly being called in for things like this, of being used as some kind of private security for numbskulls? I'd really like to hear how they (the police) feel about it. OR, are they that bored and actually welcome such calls? SMH

As a white woman who has never called the cops on a POC in all my 48 years, I am deeply ashamed of having anything in common with these idiots.

It's possible they were just rolling their eyes & thinking "let's get rid of this freak" but the article I saw said that it was OK, per the Police.

Absolutely concur.

I've had it up to my eyebrows with white women and their entitled racist whining.

And I'm a lady who is so fucking white I glow in the dark.

I've called 911 three times.

Once, I found a confused elderly lady walking around out on her street at 1 am, freaking out about something that wouldn't stop inside her house. I stayed with her on her front lawn until the police came, and because she wouldn't let go of my hand when the officers escorted her back inside, I know that the problem turned out to be that the toilet wouldn't stop running.

The other two times were on the same woman, who used to live upstairs from me... once when I heard a vicious fight - clearly involving physical violence and much broken glass - break out before she and her boyfriend separated, and once after listening to their toddler screaming and crying non-stop for more than five hours from the same corner of the apartment while she ignored his screams. Turned out that she ignored him because she was sleeping off a coke binge, and that she hadn't changed his diaper or fed him in at least a day. Her boyfriend came and took the child away, and she went to jail, and that's the last I heard of them.

It would never occur to me to call 911 on people going about their lawful business.

I don't like the look in that cat's eyes, I suspect some murders may be about to occur.

He only murders my arm, it's semi-consensual; I annoy him, he bites me.

This is as it has been since the first day at the pound, and is one of the personality traits I find endearing. He doesn't bite anyone else, comes when whistled for, and is generally wonderful.

I think the easy, and frightening, response is that the cops don’t see these as “abuse of 911”. Many of these cops see black folks as real threats. That is what is so terrifying and why white people feel safe calling. As a white person myself it is awful having anything in common with these morons

We glow like that so we can make our way through the mines we’re supposed to be living in. (Sorry, Irish and Scottish. I’m practically a vampire)

Both Braasch and Rodrigue(z)s ? seem nice !!!Wondering if Rodriguez is Latina ? Braasch's photo is plastered all over the internet now. With words. She literally has a beef with this woman & the cops fell for it. True the PD admonished her for calling PD on a black student, but I think the consequences she faces should be harsher. A big fine. Appearance in court. I hope the student sues her. A lot. I imagine the future dorm potlucks won't be that pleasant for Braasch.

It's nice to have some interaction, I feed 6 street gangster cats and the closest thing I have to acknowledgement is the occasional hiss, lol.

She *may* have been within her rights to notify the police, but that's not what 911 is for. 911 is for emergencies, and an illegal BBQ DEFINITELY does not qualify.

Also, just because you're within your rights doesn't mean that you are in the right.
