So some Tea Party dude was having a little Tea Party rally and he sort of got carried away. “She walks around like she’s some sort of Rainbow Brite Care Bear or something but really she’s an evil monster.” “We have to kill the Claire Bear,” he added.
It's not the "no" that gets me. I had parents at one time. No, its' the gleeful way the "no" is uttered.
I've read several accounts on the Internets (so I know it must be true) that Nugent said during a VH1 "Behind the Music" interview that he favored underage girls when he was on the road.
Courtney Love has said (again, according to the same reliable source) that she went down on Nugent not only before she'd reached the age of consent, but before she was a teenager.
"we conservatives are at war with the liberal establishment"
I agree there is a double standard, but certainly not what Ms Steelman suggests. The right uses combat and violent rhetoric more often and more casually than anyone I've heard on the left.
Look at how Steelman summarizes her apology for the TP'ers "kill" comment: "we're at war". I'm a steadfast Demoncrat and I don't think I'm at war with conservatives.
BUT ... this kind of talk is not surprising. We've been at actual war for ten years. Nations at war reconcile their need to fight by seeing the enemy as unworthy of life. So we've let our morality erode under the weight of torture, collateral damage, trophy photos, rampages. The casual violence of war is leaking into our political discourse. We used to be better than this.

God? I know we haven't spoken in a while, and I'm not much for praying. Especially since I never got that bike I wanted. Enough of that, though....when I was a child I spake as a child, etc, etc.
What I wanted to talk about is this. It a two-parter. First, please let these yahoos get more shrill, more nuts, and talk more about violence. Second, and this is a condition of the first, please let the rest of the people who are moderately reasonable look at these headcases and decide there's no way they're going to vote for any politician who has the support of racist, wealthy worshiping fuctards.

He is one sick puppy.

tessiee:
Tough to argue with that. However, incidents such as this one probably had at least something to do with how she turned out.
Actually, I think one thing about Courtney Love is that she's pretty open about everything.

That more-than-sort of disturbs me.
Ted Nugent is most likely masturbating to the statement. Then he's going outside and shoot some threatening paper targets of Care Bears.

Amen.
It turns out a rare white buffalo was killed in Texas. Mr. Nugent has yet to deny he is responsible.
The former.
