Am I misrembering things, or did I hear that the new case against Epstein would be brought by a public corruption unit, or something similar.. I vaguely recall some guy on the news saying that people shouldn't read too much into that decision, which ok, fine, but then the next day it comes out that Acosta was taking secret meetings, seemingly in the interests of not his client?Am I wrong to wonder whether these events could be related? or have I joined dots that can't legally be joined?

I watched Ken Burns' film on Huey Long last nite. It was very interesting. Whether Huey saw the poor as needing help or as giving help to the poor as a way to enrich himself is a question. However, in his first term as governor he helped more people in Louisiana than the previous 3 governors, and he built more roads and bridges than ever before.
