Shaking its headING, at least: "Well-regulated militia" doesn't mean "well-tailored leader on his members' dues"! — the poor text was last heard complaining....
Mind boggling that limiting people to one handgun purchase per month is a victory... who needs a new gun every month? Let alone more than that? What for? I just don't understand that at all. Wouldn't people just run out of room to store that many (aside from anything else)? 12 per year per person (presumably over the age of 18) per household. I mean, jesus wtf.
Lived in Maine for 15 years, and it will always be home to me. Spent three years in Portland, more in Mid Coast area, and a very cold year in the mountains of NW Maine.Such a beautiful state, and for the most part, wonderful people.
If it weren't so cold, with long winters, it would be overrun with people.
Portland was a great little city when I was there. The Old Port was a delightful place to walk and hang out. I lived on Danforth St in one of those big old mansions overlooking the water. Good ole days.
Nice! We lived in Portland for a year in "68. A huge old white with black shutters place near Deering High School. It sounds like you lived in one of the old Sea Captain mansions. How romantic! Do you have any pics of it?
No photos, just a few inside on a Thanksgiving day when we all sat around and drank sherry in front of the many fireplaces. It was a grand old house, and was supposedly haunted. There were sometimes what sounded like footsteps in the attic, and occasionally the light up there would be turned on. We thought it was fun.The house also had a grand ballroom, all wood paneling and chandeliers, really perfect for parties. The days of my youth, many good times.

Well, they are bi-valves...
I have fond memories of going out in Narragansett Bay in a small (2-person) sailboat, no engine at all, pure wind-power.
(Well, there was a back-up: oars.)

The question that has been rattling around for me: What about Intelligent Design?
wait.... don't you get in trouble if you share pictures of your kids with no clothes on?

I'm from Windham originally, most of my siblings are still there.

i would guess that they need more than one a month because they keep selling them? so they really shouldn't be able to even buy that many.
I thought that was Clamato, the Thing That Should Never Have Come Into Being.

Such great news! So NRA, now we are coming for your guns, because you've proven countless times that you're not responsible with them.
