I'm glad I'm not the only one. I made a point of not voting for her when she abandoned her public advocate position to run for AG. My feelings are similar about Jumaane Williams. I am underwhelmed by all the candidates that are in the race right now.
I'll sum up the primary in NY for governor next year this way.Anyone who pushes the fixing the SALT cap limit is helping the rich will lose, plain and simple. It fucked over a lot of us in NY and the fact some progressives are helping Republicans keep it in place is NOT going over well.
I hate to sound like a right winger but there are a lot of folks who DO need to get out of their bubble and realize many areas aren't as blue as they think or want an area to be.
Yup.I stayed out of this thread for the most part because there are way, way too many people talking shit about someone they know nothing about because he's not a far left AOC type.Suozzi doesn't deserve the shitty write up he got here and folks really need to understand how Republicans fucked us over on their tax cut repeal and that he's been trying to fix it while some of the folks people here fawn over have been fighting attempts to stop it saying it only helps the rich. Not true and the fact Bernie/AOC and others keep ignoring ts NOT playing well here, something a lot of folks who don't live here don't seem to get.
Same here.
I've been told I have it. By people who obviously don't. I'm usually the reliable one who knows what to do when a shit show comes down.
When "common sense" is so rare it ceases to be "common" sense.
What's to like in a centre-right party like the Dems?
And those are in Orchard Park...
Psst! Vanna White doesn't do that - she just turns letters on "Wheel Of Fortune".Maybe you're thinking of women on "The Price Is Right"

That’s what I meant. The two shows were on back to back growing up and I get them switched.

Many of them got fucked over by the Salt CAP which he has been trying to fix.I imagine that will be an angle he goes with.
Suozzi is a boring centrist but he's not horrible Republican lite.
It also has to do with the maps being redrawn. He's unlikely to survive a primary in a new district.

My god. Why?

Hasn't been brought up once by the usual suspects.
