"Sticks and stones may break my bones...". But that's what we're going to be forced to use when we run out of munitions. A somewhat pessimistic German analysis on our titanic Mideast blunder:
Pentagon Bans Press Photographers From Hegseth Briefings Over 'Unflattering' Photos: Report
"The Pentagon has barred several news outlets' photographers from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's recent briefings on the Iran war after his aides found photos captured at a March 2 press conference "unflattering," The Washington Post reported on Wednesday. The Post noted that it wasn't clear if Hegseth's staff took issue with a particular photo or the totality of the shots captured at that briefing. But photographers were not allowed to enter the briefing room on March 4. Since then, the department's own staff photographers have been the only ones capturing shots at his press conferences, The Post said." [HuffPo/WaPo]
I don't agree with this war, or anything about how it's being conducted obviously. However, if the US is running out of munitions, why is the pentagon buying lobster and not...uh, munitions? Also, who TF is eating all this expensive food and benefitting from the expensive equipment?
I keep wondering if any member of this wretched hive of scum and villainy ever has a dark moment of the soul, an “OMG, what have we done? We’re the baddies.” Then I remember that if they’re working for the Grand Orange Dragon in the first place then they never possessed that capability. And then I have my own.
All this while American veterans are being robbed of their health care through massive cuts to the Veterans Administration, and active-duty military and their families are also having to deal with reductions to their healthcare. The current regime at least spares the pretense of caring for those they send to battle, but every member of Congress supporting those cuts should be tarred and feathered for their misfeasance and hypocrasy.
Much of that end of year spending was because TrumpCo held up ALL spending for months and then finally released it at the end.
The lobsters and Steinway tho is certainly hand in the cookie jar shit
Especially since NO ONE should be spending government funds on personal things like stickers for your kids or fruit baskets for your cronies.
"there have been eight US service member deaths during the conflict so far"
I don't believe that at all. I'm sure there's another digit after that, maybe two.
You stick the stickers on the iPads, duh.
Ta, Marcie. Putin's puto must die.

wow even his hand picked press is not flattering him?
yeah that's a manly flex
every dollar spent on munitions is essentially wasted
either the munitions are used, in which case they are expended, or they are not, in which case they serve no function
either way, the dollar is gone and can’t be spent elsewhere, because munitions aren’t productive either in service or storage
I don't agree with this war, or anything about how it's being conducted obviously. However, if the US is running out of munitions, why is the pentagon buying lobster and not...uh, munitions? Also, who TF is eating all this expensive food and benefitting from the expensive equipment?
The USA is bloated defense budget incarnate.

I'm not regretting my solar panels and electric car
I've had solar for the last six years and I love it. Still waiting on a suitable electric truck, though. And by suitable, I also mean affordable.
