Actually, it has already been documented that cannabis does not contain the same carcinogens as tobacco products, but the fact is that inhaling smoke of any variety is unhealthy. Fortunately, vapes and edibles eliminate the inhalation of combustion by-products.

They tend to be really yummy... and that gets worse!

Same in Clark County, Nevada. Wish we could get our act together here in Cali.

The only problem I have with smoking it (and I do... a lot) is that it is particulants that you are inhaling, which no matter what is usually not good for your lungs. Other than that, yeah, it's not very harmful.

And for others, not in the know, they mean a tabletop one with a balloon to catch the vapor. NOT one of those hipster pen jobs that could explode in your pocket.

It contains many of the same carcinogens. Not all of them But some of them. And some of the ones that it contains are in larger concentrations.

As far as I know, however, there has not been enough data to to enough longitudinal epidemiological following studies to establish smoking pot as being a high risk activity insofar as cancer is concerned.

That doesn't mean it isn't one. I just means it has been illegal, so gathering data for otherwise healthy, chronic users hasn't been around long enough to establish the risk one way or the other.

I did a "git gud" at Dark Souls will smoking Satan's Celery. It also mellows me out from the burnout of 24/7 elder care.

Edibles are awesome. And if you have no tolerance, it's like smoking a full blunt to yourself with none of the lung irritation.Only downside I remember is having a ravenous case of the munchies that just didn't want to be sated.

Even in milder cases it's more like you said "America has spoken, so listen to them", but when they are in the minority, "My constituents put me here to stop you". It's just pure shittiness they sauce over their losses.

I bet it will. That's also kind of why younger folks who are chronic users (no pun intended) don't develop emotional coping skills if they are stoned for years and years and years.

I know, "whatever, man". As a safety valve for infrequent users, it's not an issue. But like everything else you ingest that significantly mimics neurotransmitters over a prolonged period of time, your body tries to compensate for the impairment, setting you up for some fun when you give long time sobriety a shot.

Not to mention, you wind up losing up to 6 IQ points on average according to a couple of studies, and I suppose that's OK if you have room to burn a few IQ points. lol

Not good enough, Joe. Handing a token (no pun intended) win to the pro-marijuana crowd is just more posturing. Making it legal medicinally but not recreationally just gives big pharma another handout, and screws everyone else. Nobody should be going to jail over a joint any more than they should have for a drink in the 20s. It’s not interpretive. And arbitrary assignment as a Class 2 is basically a means of handing out sentences that don’t match the crime. Too many people are already in jail for weed. A lot of them are POC. I hope this resonates with them. Especially the ones who like Joe for his Obama affiliation. Joe is no Obama. Joe is not up to speed. And right now he seems to be ‘correctable’ after the fact, but once elected, we’d have no reason to trust he’d continue to be.

We will have to start addressing online activity and device time too then, because they have similar affect on the brain, and are by far and away more widespread, and used and accessible to children.

Except that online devices don’t impair your ability to use heavy machinery when you’re not using them. The difference between texting while driving and driving an hour after texting.
