Of that little trio (I know, all trios are the same size), it's hard to pick the most loathsome, or least virtuous, or bqwhtevr, but that Rand Paul, whew. I think he walks away with phoniest, least bona fide politician in any small grouping in the USA at this particular vicious moment in time. Keep an eye on this little asswipe, cuz he wants to be president in a big way. Which would not be at all good for my beloved USA.

Might get a lot of things done, but the trouble is it would ONLY get those things done which the GQP admit are “infrastructure” (bridges, highways and dams). And then they can brag about how well they bipartisaned, and can tell any bills about HUMAN infrastructure to go fuck off. So no; not acceptable.

So, a Senator, his staff and anyone who reviewed the bill did not notice a serious typo? Makes me think one person wrote it, no one read it and they brought it to the floor. That spells I-N-C-O-M-P-E-T-E-N-C-E.

That's precisely what I'm saying.

I'll admit I'd be happy to see fracking go away entirely but banning it in the west (Colorado River basin, Ogallala Aquifer) would be a good start.
