Those are a bit more evenly distributed --- which is why the zillionaires are always bitching about 'em. They take some of the fun out of owning a <a href="http:\/\/ehttp:\/\/rismedia.com\/2006-01-30\/125-million-trump-estate-tops-list-of-countrys-most-expensive-homes-for-sale\/" target="_blank">$125,000,000 home</a>.

The defendants will cover their asses by inpleading the ratings agencies -- and then the rats will start squealing on one another in earnest. I just hope the DOJ doesn't cut more deals with these pricks than the absolute minimum necessary.

Toss in sales/gas taxes, and the tax rate for poor people spikes up another 5-10%. (You could factor in cigarette/liquor taxes for another 3% or so, but the wingnutz will jump all over that and ignore your actual point.)

Well-played! The dog whistle sub-text, of course, is that those who file to collect the Earned Income Tax Credit are ripping off the hard-working citizens.

There's a similar lie about food stamps - the high number of people "on" food stamps. Of course, dependent children are counted in that number - but the right wing nutz never get around to mentioning that!
