Yes, but elections like that one are a special case, because the district *is* safely blue and because the party doesn't spend a penny on GOTV. As long as the right person is gonna win, the money and effort are probably better spent elsewhere.

I occasionally get to vote in elections where the only people running are judges I've never heard of and the turnout is in the 3 digits. Now that's what I call a powerful vote. Too bad usually have to vote the party line through sheer ignorance.

Gosh yes! The TP strategy of primarying any candidate not strong enough on the issues is an excellent formula for getting their guys elected -- just ask Senators Christine O'Donnell, Sharon Angle, Ken Buck, Todd Akin, and Richard Mourdock.

Not to mention former President Eugene McCarthy.

Because they were acknowledging true conservative principles.

Having drawn public attention to themselves, it became more obvious than ever that there is no need whatsoever for any "duty" an Agriculture Department may perform. We have the best free (snarf) market in human history that will handle every needed aspect of inspection, safety, emerging tech such as GM crops - and even marketing. Hiring anyone to attend to such things at a governmental level is wasteful and completely unnecessary.

They number them, so perhaps this is the Billy Skaggs that has the most seniority.

It is a state, after all, that has two counties with the exact same name.
