I was raised Mormon in Southern Idaho. Never swallowed the kool-aid.......seemed a little 'far-fetched' if you will. When I went into the USAF on my 18th birthday, one of the things they ask you is your religion (it's for your dog tags). There was no box to check for atheist or even agnostic.......so where it had a line for a write in, I put 'NONE'....my dog tags came back reading 'Protestant'......
After witnessing the horrors of combat in S.E. Asia, I demanded they change my dog tags to ATHEIST....... They sent me to a priest to talk about it.......I refused.
Anyway.......THIS kind of persecution culture is EXACTLY why I'm done with ALL religion........
