What worries me is that GOPers still think that siding with Trump will win elections for them-- because they've been advised that this is the case. And then, I'm doubly nervous because these "advisors" have their weaselly nostrils quivering in the swamps of the worst of the worst, i.e the folks who always get the scumbags elected. I'm a broken record, the GOP needs to be burned to the ground. They need to be pursued like the varmints that they are.

Well, there is "a lot of 'evidence' if you would only do your own research!!"

Noted, but still. Last I heard he hadn't kidnapped and restrained anyone.

I just got one that said, "Compliment three people every day."

Amazing how many republicans, who all took a vow to never compromise with the Black guy, began lamenting the lack of compromise in Washington the moment they were out of power.

Sounds like the new Republican maggot won't be really much different than the old Republican maggot.

Did his last name come about because of what he smoked?

Blame shifting on his way out of the door. He was one of the GOP obstructions that lead to the lack of cooperation. Roy Blunt is an old worn out turd that has screwed up things in this country and wants to go out on a high note. I say no. See him for what he is. See him for what he has done.

The senator Missouri voted like a sheep for old McConnell.

With votes. Pursue and destroy them wherever you find them - with votes. Remove them from all office, high and low, until even the filibuster can't save their proposed legislation or other purposes. But destroy the filibuster anyhow, and glory in the sound of their squawking.Of course they are trying hard to make voting them out impossible, by making voting itself impossible. Going to be a long hard fight.

I haz a confuse. So being for a Republican (McConnell) is unacceptably partisan behavior by a Republican (Blunt)?

With less snark, let us note that in several letters that Hoover sent to Roosevelt following the 1932 election, Hoover demanded that Roosevelt promise to follow the program that Hoover had advocated during his campaign. 25 years later, Hoover was still complaining that Roosevelt had caused the Great Depression by ignoring him.

I think you are far too kind to the GOP, Dok.

Blame it on the Voting Rights Act of 1965, which by chasing out the Southern racists allowed the Democrats to reshape themselves as a center-moderate party and forced the Republicans to reshape themselves as a far-right auxiliary of the KKK.
