The only thing the sofa molester will ever be elected president of is the Used Just For Men Wrong Club.

J. D. Vance always seems one six-pack away from being the ambling busy-body town drunk of the sort you might see in some TV series set in Missouri during the Civil War.

You guys ready to laugh at a headline that might as well read "Sun rises in the east"?

"Sun rises in the east"

It's true on Venus. One day there is equal to 243 Earth days so it's a slow rise.

Slow rise, take it easy.

P.S. - and operating his 747 Flying Bordello is pretty pricey, ya know.

Say, what ever happened to Hunter Biden's laptop?

And even more importantly, his GINORMOUS COKED UP TALLY-WHACKER?!

Hunter is out appearing on all independent media everywhere. He's smart and witty and has no fucks to give.

Jehovah Witnesses say Jesus Christ came again in 1914. The First Person created by God was installed as the King of Heaven. This happened spiritually, not physically, so if you think you missed something important, you didn’t.

Swedenborgen's think (if I understand correctly) that heaven or hell, it's right here on earth, and we build it right around ourselves.

[stepdad was Swedenborgen, and my sister still follows a lot of the teachings)

zuludaddy (seamonkey!)'s avatar

weird fun fact?

the founder had been born "Swedborg," and upon gaining a following, petitioned the crown of Sweden [i.e., Sverige] for permission to change his surname to Swedenborg, which was obviously granted

Cambridge Mass has a fairytale-looking tiny stone Swedenborgian chapel which seems to host A Lot of weddings

JD is one of the biggest phonies out there----and he can't even sell his own bullshit

He's at that difficult age, where he's still trying to find himself.

Do we think he will eventually browbeat Usha enough to convert? I vote yes, probably. Otherwise she’s bad for his brand. And she seems to be all in on the power and access so … 🤷🏻‍♀️

She’s Brahmin, so no.

He just needs to baptize them all in their sleep, and then, abracadabra, they will all be Catholics going to Heaven. (Read about the Mortara case.) Yes, any Catholic can do that with a glass of water and the right words.

Beverly Aikins, Vance's mother, said Wednesday that she would “probably punch” Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed for past comments he made about her son, Vice President Vance.

In an interview on “Tomi Lahren is Fearless,” Fox News host Tomi Lahren showed Aikins a clip of El-Sayed stating, “Can you imagine, he’s got brown kids, at some point he’s going to have a really awkward conversation with his kids, like, you made your career hating people who are different.”

Vance’s relationship with his mother was described in his memoir, “Hillbilly Elegy,” which detailed his upbringing in rural Kentucky alongside Aikins’s struggle with addiction.

“There’s something about Abdul El-Sayed that is very, very evil and on the rise in the United States of America today,” Vance said.

El-Sayed responded in an CNN interview the same day, saying, “Well, let me tell you what’s evil. Evil is the idea of starting wars when there’s peace. Evil is the idea of stripping away people’s healthcare when they absolutely have no other option. What’s evil is to do that, so that you can pass a tax cut for billionaires.”

Isn’t she the hopeless addict who let Meemaw raise JD? Didn’t Mermaw have like 15 loaded guns around the house? (How come there was never an accident?) Little old lady gonna punch out 40 year old man? Hmmm…Is this a challenge from Johnny Knoxville she is doing?

Coleman's avatar

Hey Bev, I don't think Abdul would punch you back, but there's plenty of people that would

Trump: "For the treasonous SCUM that refuses to accurately report on our Military Operation in Iran, we have virtually unlimited amounts of Mid to High Grade Ammunition, far more than we could ever use for this, or for any other War (which is highly unlikely!), that could improbably take place."

If my boss was an anti christ, I sure as shit would be focussing on it and looking for an exit-asap. This is why JD Vance is not suitable for making decisions that effect the rest of the world.

It's another classic JDism-- "Yeah, I'm not really worried about it."

Talk of the end times, and of the apocalypse, works in the sense that by comparison, the problems people currently have are not so bad. If the end is nigh, who cares how much eggs cost, or if the imported beef comes from cane toads? It'll all be over soon, and God's chosen will ascend to Heaven.

[Still an atheist.]

Really cool story and worth the watch.

The Magic Gardens Museum 1020 South Street, Philadelphia

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8ePgmjUz_E

In 1986 and 1995 Isaiah and Julia Zagar purchased two buildings and a lot to be used as Isaiah’s studio. At the age of 58, after fully mosaicking those spaces, Isaiah started working on the vacant lots next to their property. He did not own those lots, but nevertheless embellished the fence on South Street and then began sculpting structures out of found objects.
