I'll bet the grifter vets wear fatigues and hold up signs,I seen one of them he stood in traffic what long enough to get change for a bottle of mad dog and a pack of smokes then went straight to the state store saying semper fi, I is going to get high

Veteran's Day - I was asked to play at an observance yesterday. Played, The Green Fields of France, Christmas in the Trenches, and Let Them In. I got almost as many scowls for the first two as I received thanks. "Whaddya mean on both ends of the rifle we're the same?!". Welp, I guess that takes care of next year's invitation.

Your compassion it's truly touching. Rest assured, if you ever have your face blown off, or arms and legs amputated, or brains fried from an IED explosion, and end up down on your luck and homeless, begging for mercy on a street corner somewhere, I'll remember your words.
