We play a game here in which we try to predict how the NYT will show the world that they love Republicans and wants them to win.

That's the thing with addicts, though: you have to keep upping the dose to get the (almost) same high.

What I have wanted my whole life is a world where love is the most worthwhile reason to get out of bed in the morning; a world where a person makes a living wage for their work; a world where the words of the moralists square up with the reality of their deeds; a world with a bit of joy, some fun and some spice.

I have never stopped wanting that. I hope I never do. I have even had some bits of success with that wanting. That I failed to make you laugh at an obvious absurdity is my fault. I apologize and hope we can move on.

Everything Dad except teaching them not to disrespect minorities and women or think their opinion is correct just because they heard it in Church.

Agreed it should be kept a fantasy. But what a fun fantasy it is! The real human being most certainly does NOT need or deserve to be subjected to that, but our dark and twisted minds could use a little levity from time to time.

Also agree with Shananigan. 'Grudge hire' is my new favorite word today.

" Our next Supreme Court justice will not be chosen on the basis of legal acumen, intelligence, wise judgment, or fealty to the Constitution of the United States."They seem to think no black women can be those things. No, that's not racist.
