What I have wanted my whole life is a world where love is the most worthwhile reason to get out of bed in the morning; a world where a person makes a living wage for their work; a world where the words of the moralists square up with the reality of their deeds; a world with a bit of joy, some fun and some spice.

I have never stopped wanting that. I hope I never do. I have even had some bits of success with that wanting. That I failed to make you laugh at an obvious absurdity is my fault. I apologize and hope we can move on.

So Breyer was the Supreme Court's Dad, with the arcane knowledge about things that happened before you were born and a whole lot of jokes learned 60 years ago and still sort of funny today. Everything Dad except teaching them not to disrespect minorities and women or think their opinion is correct just because they heard it in Church.

Whoever it is, she'll spend half her time teaching Amy Coney Barrett there's more life to protect after birth than before. The other half will be divided between telling Clarence Thomas she's praying for him and giving Kananaugh the stink eye.

Agreed it should be kept a fantasy. But what a fun fantasy it is! The real human being most certainly does NOT need or deserve to be subjected to that, but our dark and twisted minds could use a little levity from time to time.

Also agree with Shananigan. 'Grudge hire' is my new favorite word today.
