Wingnuts Outraged Teen In Bikini Forced Hero Cop To Smack Her Around Some

The National Conversation On The Pool Party Gone Awry in McKinney, Texas, took a familiar turn after the first full day of media exposure. Yr Wonkette was astonished to see that on Sunday, even the nine full-time staffers of Twitchy initially condemned the McKinney police officer, now identified as Cpl. Eric Casebolt, for manhandling a 15-year-old girl in a swimsuit. But by Monday night, they had rejoined their readers in worrying about how All The Blacks are blowing this out of proportion, with a scary story warning that the Nation of Islam and the New Black Panthers were joining the growing protests. And thus was order restored to the WingnuttoSphere.

Megyn Kelly: Let's Ask Mark Fuhrman How To Treat The Blacks

On The Kelly File,   Megyn Kelly consulted Police Expert Mark Fuhrman on the propriety of Casebolt's actions, and here's a heck of a surprise: Furhman actually said Casebolt appeared to be doing some extremely sloppy police work, that pulling his gun was premature, and that the cop had no business wading into the crowd of jeering unruly teens all by himself to play SuperCop. Further, said Fuhrman, putting so much effort into subduing one person made Casebolt "completely useless to the rest of the crowd or the other officers." Kelly went out of the way to make excuses for Casebolt, noting that the girl he slammed to the ground looked like "a young woman" and maybe Casebolt didn't know she was only 14. We half expected her to explain that the girl looked like she was bulking up in preparation to charge, maybe.

Kelly did at least call the takedown "brutal," before fretting that the media was making this "a race thing" (which it might have been, given that the brouhaha reportedly started with a white lady telling the black kids to get out of the pool area and "go back to section 8"). Importantly, Kelly noted, "The girl was no saint, either; he had told her to leave and she continued to linger." Apparently she needed her face pushed into the ground for aggravated lingering, although Kelly added that she was "not defending his actions." Fuhrman rejected the notion that race could be a factor, since black people live in the community too, and it was people from the community who called the cops to begin with. Keen analysis, there.

The Party Violated The Rules, So Cops Had To Bang Some Heads!

Over at The Conservative Treehouse, some sleuths did some investigatin' of the people they're sure are really the cause of all the trouble: the planner of the party, Tatiana Rhodes, and her mother. Tatiana also goes by Tatyana -- the liar and identity-shifter! --and she is really 20, but some of her social media accounts say she's 19 even though her birthday was way back in April! Obviously a shady character. The site juxtaposes photos of Tatiana and her mother, Lashana Burkes, looking quite blackity-black indeed, and grimly notes that "Both appear to be natives of Chicago." Subtle!

Tatiana's crime? Inviting a whole lot of people to a party at a park in the “Craig Ranch” gated community where she and her mother live, but describing it as a "pool party," in flagrant violation of the Home Owners Association rules, which specify that pool parties must be authorized by the HOA and must be limited to 20 guests!!! Here's Conservative Treehouse's breathless description of how everything went wild:

Apparently Tatiana and her mother Lashana were unable to control the growing crowd -- who came to their event at the park looking for and expecting a “pool party”.

That’s when things got out of control as the 100+ teens (and young adults) turned into a mob of partygoers and began jumping the fence to the gated pool area. Residents within the neighborhood found themselves confronting a mob of teens growing ever increasingly hostile and agitated.

You know, the way those people who look like they're from Chicago do. The "teen mob" refused to leave the pool area when asked to by an "adult resident" -- presumably the lady who told them to "go back to section 8" where they belonged, and then there were angry words; the website says this video shows how Tatiana Rhodes "attacked the adult female resident," but darned if we can tell who attacked whom, since the shot begins mid-screaming-match:

So yes, it sounds like a party got out of control. Not quite sure how that justifies a cop tackling a 15-year-old girl and jamming a knee in her back. You just have to be firm with these people; it's not like they're well-behaved white kids at a pumpkin festival.

Won't Someone Think Of The Private Property?

Always happy to add a dash of her libertarian Ownership-trumps-all moral code, Blaze-TV deep-thinker Dana Loesch tweeted these pointed questions:

And why didn't the parents examine the HOA rules on party size and location before setting loose their teens to ransack, pillage, and loot, huh?

Fox: Let's Not Rush To Judgment, Because Fox Never Does That

 Fox & Friends just wants us to consider all points of view, and not rush to judgment, because maybe the kids were completely out of control thugs at some point before the video began, and also one of the organizers of protests in McKinney is a very bad man!

Steve Doocy, so often the voice of reason, asks, "Why the rush to judgment? Let's just figure out what happened, and then let the cards fall where they may." Especially if we can find a way to make it OK that Cpl. Casebolt flung a 15-year-old girl to the ground and sat on her. She may have needed exactly that, in the right context.

Forget The Girl, Let's Give The Cop A Medal

Finally, one nice white lady who saw it all go down thinks Cpl. Casebolt needs to be given the key to the city or at least a medal for his heroic actions. 

“I want everyone to know that that police officer, along with everyone else, they were completely in the right and protecting everyone,” the woman opined to CNN’s Nick Valencia. “He was not out of line. I completely support him drawing his weapon or a Taser or whatever it was that he did pull because he was being attacked from behind.”

“I believe that if your life is threatened, you have every right to pull a gun. He probably didn’t intend on using it. I feel horrible for McKinney PD and the backlash they’re getting for this.”

The woman added that the officer “deserves a medal for what he did.”

Yes, because as we all know, pulling a deadly weapon is OK if you don't intend to use it. That's like Rule One in Cop 101, in whatever alternate dimension this person beamed in from. The woman, who didn't want to be identified because of alleged death threats, also had some other suggested revisions on when law enforcement should be authorized to use deadly force:

“I don’t believe he was out of line one bit,” she insisted. “Those kids were taunting them and cursing them out, have no respect for authority and as soon as their parents got here, they didn’t even care one bit about how they were treating the officers and why they got into that situation.”

The woman didn't have any comment on the appropriateness of Casebolt's vigorous restraint of the possibly life-threatening teen in a bikini, mabye because she was a mouthy teen with no respect for authority.

We're giving the ConservaSphere about another six hours before they find a way to connect the pool brouhaha to ISIS.
