Wisconsin tabaggers don't want to alarm anyone, they just believe in being prepared, is all, which is why they want the state to be ready to secede from the union. Not that they think they'll really need to. So when the state's Republican convention rolls around in May, there will be a resolution on the agenda to consider whether the state GOP "supports legislation that upholds Wisconsin’s right, under extreme circumstances, to secede.”
I can tell you that the last time we had a Teabagger in the White House, in the GW Bush years, twelve of the original 13 states came damn close to starting over. We got as far as deciding to put the capital in Philly this time because the food is excellent, and New York is so over, and we had a new Declaration of Independence and a nice design for a flag and everything. Then the black guy got elected and the whole thing got put on the back burner.
So, look. There is the Repubican Party. They are assholes. They have an asshole platform. What are you gonna do? (Don't vote for them is an idea).
But, on the "There was a petition to secede" front -- in the video clip, it showed 4,600+ signatures. The anchor mentioned on the way out that "of the more than 5,000 signatures on the petition (must have been a little later)", more than half were from out of state".
There are roughly 5M Wisconsin residents. A secession petition signed by one out of a thousand of them (and half of those were not residents) is maybe not worth even mentioning?
A friend of mine worked at UW Oshkosh until she escaped. Her department resembled nothing so much as the 3rd Rock menage. (the university part, not the aliens)
Maybe they can go halfsies on Wyoming's aircraft carrier? I hear that Walker likes cowboy seamen.
Take Florida and Mississippi with you, too. Thanks.
We have to burn the Union to save it. That's because we lurv it that much.

So, Quad Graphics would have to become FourGraf, or what?
Also, where the fuck are the mushrooms?
And what direction Niagara Falls falls.

North. Lots of people think its south.
"They’re not going to secede unless they really, really have to..."
In other words, if Obama makes them.
The PRK is certainly tranny-free. Tyranny-free, ehh, not so much.

Succeed. I prefer my socialist French cheese.
Think of all the inexpensive imported cheese we could have!
It's one of our most highly respected departments.
Good thing Lincoln is still dead . . . he'd be wondering what alternative universe he'd been transported to.
