Now we have to put up with people who don't know how to read, but keep pulling out their copies of the Constitution and telling us what they think it means. I've told my "transgender getting arrested, booked, and dragged into court for using the wrong bathroom" story a few times now, so I'm going to switch gears. Hear me out (and forgive me dipping my toes into feminism some).
Know why guys like this have such a huge issue with MtF people, and relatively little to say about FtM? It's all about power, and the concept of being a "traitor" to one's sex.
We live in a society that's quite frankly, run by men. Men have been the dominant force in society for an extremely long time. They're the bosses. So, in comes a nice MtF person who says "Ohh, being male is all well and good, I'd like to be female now", and (certain) men go apeshit. This is a Problem. Here's a person saying that being a man maybe isn't the absolute best thing in the world. Maybe they're OK giving up the privilege of being the dominant sex, in return for feeling normal. Somehow, for this person, being a woman is in some way SUPERIOR to being a man. We can't have that.
So, the men fight back, and look at the tactics they use. It's entirely belittling and denying the trans person's very identity. Bigot fires a MtF trans worker, the unspoken is "if they'd applied as a man they'd have a job". Constant misgendering, using of birth names since changed (we call it "deadnaming", that's straight up saying "you're not a woman, you're a man". All these stupid laws, rules, and barriers sitting between birth and official recognition of corrected sex, it's all a (not so subtle) push to just give up, give in, and be a man.
Hell, even innocentish comments like "I could never see myself as a woman, I'd commit suicide". No, what's being said is "I can't see myself stepping down from the dominant power role I was born to". Same with crap like "Only effeminate gay men change sex". I'll address that one next.
Then, of course, comes the biggy comment, the one most used by people trying to score a little equality cred: "Hey, you don't HAVE to change your gender, being camp gay is cool now, just be gay!" No, these people aren't trying to show how nondiscriminatory they are. We all know they're just as homophobic as they are transphobic. What's really being said is, "Look, we'd rather have you on the absolute bottom of the gender pecking order as an effeminate gay man, rather than going traitor and saying being a dude isn't good enough".
Now, how does this relate to FtM types? Short and sweet, they're just "playacting" at being a man. See, men are the the gatekeepers, and there's no way in HELL they're going to just let a mere woman join the club, regardless of what's done. If said FtM person retains any level of femininity, well "they just need a good fuck to straighten em out". Once it gets to the point of Butch Angel, they're just freaks and safely disregarded
