Has Ted Cruz bought his tickets to Cancun yet?

Gee, if only Texas was hooked up to a national grid that could help them make up the lost power.

I think you mean, "Has Ted Cruz left for Cancun yet?"

We got one hot shower that week, at the MIL's house. She never lost power. We were too afraid to be away from out place and animals for very long, though.

My BIL and his wife live in a travel trailer. They had zero power or water for a week. I don't know how they made it. They were afraid to leave because of road conditions and because they were kinda looking out for older neighbors.

I left Dallas in '09. At the time, Plano was mostly grassy patches.

As a Texan, we're well warned about Louisiana

I thought that they were not regulated, that was the whole point of refusing the national grid?

That still shocks me. 246 people dead from that storm. Damnit.

OMG. How heartbreaking.

And we are all safer for it.

If he massively solarized Texas that would be a fabulous outcome.

This does not make him a likeable person, however.

It will create chaos. There will be no seasons. We will all die of want, some more slowly than others. That is what it means to be extinct.

That fucking idiot Manchin.
