I miss the non-pre-recorded WonkTV sessions, with the witty Greek chorus of Wonketteers in the sidebar. I understand that they are probably much more difficult to pull off due to time zones, scheduling, and perhaps YouTube weirdness. But I miss 'em. There, I said it.

People keep complaining that he hasn’t been muzzled.

I think the prosecution has declined to advocate for that, because he keeps confessing to the crimes he’s committed.

I have yet to encounter any such regretful individuals.

And I vigorously second your hopes that this lawsuit prevails. These prudish curtain-twitchers have NO right to legislate their morality on the rest of us.

As with any group, there likely are statistical outliers. And it's unfortunate if that's how they feel.

We know that's not the majority. The data provides indications to the contrary. Not that any of those assholes care.

We wouldn’t know them. They live in Canada. Lol

A great many people (adults even) decide to post things on the internet that they later regret. But the internet is forever and there’s no taking it back. They aren’t even outliers. We don’t make them see a psychologist for a year before letting them post. We don’t ask them to try out being that person who wants to post that thing, to see if they truly and genuinely feel that’s who they are. We don’t consult their parents. And, we don’t legislate their choices. We just let them be who they are, and give them access to what they need to achieve that.

Funny how it’s the pro-life people who want a Civil War.

Why has no one ever asked them what is the goal of their Civil War? What do they want to happen if they win? What would happen if they lose?

Journalism sucks in this country. They just take whatever republicans say at face value and never ask them any hard questions.

Can we get bortions in gumball machines or taco trucks on every corner?

Because my woke daughter thinks they should be like the choice between black beans or refried in your tacos, just a totally normal thing.

I gently suggested that it might be a good idea to try to avoid getting pregnant in the first place, just to avoid the procedure, because you can, and she said "fuck that, you can decide to have sex knowing full well that an abortion is your only plan if you get pregnant, and that's still fine, fuck you shut up!!!"

(I think that's a literal quote)
