No votes on Trump's trade deal until the election? Golly, that would be like delaying Senate confirmation on a SCOTUS nominee. Unpossible!

I don't think Bribery is the best way to get kids into college. Extortion and Blackmail would seem to work better. And a lot cheaper.

Part of the scam was getting a rescheduling for the SAT. From another article: "Granted extra time, the parents also make up a reason that they need to take the exam out of town—say, because they’ll be at a wedding. This all acts as an excuse to both test administrators and the kids as to why they need to take the test at one of the Singer’s designated test centers (often located in another state). At the center, after a kid handed in the exam, someone would either correct their scores or swap the exam with one that’s been taken on their behalf. The child would get a good score and be none the wiser."Quote from the main scammer:"It was so funny ’cause the kids will call me and say, “Maybe I should do that again. I did pretty well and if I took it again, I’ll do better even.” Right? And they just have no idea that they didn’t even get the score that they thought they got."

If the kids really didn't realize what was going on then you have a valid point. But what kid doesn't know when SATs are scheduled? "Yes honey, it is SAT Saturday but you can just go ahead with your beauty sleep."
