reminder for Central TX Wonks: I will be at the Scholz Beer Garden watch party with Calliope Jane at 7 pm. there is also a fundraiser watch party at Alamo Drafthouse Slaughter where Sen. Kirk Watson and Mayor Steve Adler will MST3K the debate for a $45 or greater donation. (as has been pointed out to me, some people like Joe Ely more and Watson's Concert Under the Stars will be at Zilker Park on Thursday evening.)
This...actually seems like a good idea. It sounds like they are combatting an invasive species with careful consideration about how to minimise collateral damage (like using lead-free ammunition and not shooting at the reef). It also seems to kill the fish instantly, unlike spear fishing.
Of course, it's only a matter of time before chuckleheads try to imitate them with a semi-automatic and armour-piercing rounds. But that's not these guys' fault.
Sorry about your Tigers. Have a gig tonight, so not watching...but I'd already decided, for reasons of mental health, not to. Trump literally enrages me, plus the bar has been set so low for him...I can't bear it. Feel free to give me a summary if you like. Wonkette is my safe place.
Thanks. Just got home and turned on MSNBC, only to see Hugh Hewitt-their pet wingtard-bloviating. If I wanted to listen to Hugh Hewitt, I would just go ahead and be a right wing idiot.
Sounding like Hillz kicked some ass and took names. Thanks for the encouraging report!
Put the cheetah and the hog on the field at the same time, and we have a metaphor for the debate. A sleek, powerful, smart, capable animal against an orange pig.
Liveblog with the comments going crazy. :) CNN usually provides a feed online. C-SPAN does as well, but I've yet to find a way to access it that doesn't require information about my non-existent cable tv subscription.
Honestly, something's gotta be done.

I know, I live in the Keys. There's an article about them in the local rags every other week.
I don't know. She used her fangs, and that's CLEARLY against the rules.
Then again, she is ... a CHEETAH!
...And, I'll show myself out.
The thespian in me insists I say, "Break a leg!", which isn't as bad as it sounds to the uninitiated.
I've been away from the internets all day. Any news on Dok? And wtf is up in Tiger-land?
How ya' doin'? You watching tonight?

Hahaha, integrity. LOL
So is the correct Bat Channel?
Ohhhh I am indeed watching... and Les is out (sad-face). That game was horrible.

Hillz really won, and nearly pushed him to the point of throwing things, so things are looking up.
Have a great gig!!

The hog fish reuben sammiches are a big hit down here.
I had a thought while watching the video:
