My kid is 14 months old and still breastfeeding, so it's a bit different of a situation. XD But hopefully in 20 years, she'll be so generous.

I'm still fortunate enough to be working, and I kicked in a hundo and will do so again if this is still up and running when the stimulus checks come. You're doing good work!

Well I thought, Oh, don't do this, Rebecca, because nobody will be able to donate because they can barely keep you afloat, and you're always all worried. That's it, that's what I thought. !!! It's wonderful.

Good idea! A hunnert for this, another for the local food bank, etc. That ought to stimulate something.

Found a few unexpected Ameros and thunked them in. Had a little trouble getting them to go in, but finally success!

Okay, so I joined the wine club thingy. (I also donated which I don't like saying, but I don't want anyone to think I only bought wine). Exactly how much wine is $222 worth for $60? For some people, that's one bottle of wine. For me, it would be about 22 bottles!

It is probably more like $120 of wine, it is usually small wineries so it is hard to find out what they normally sell for. Naked Wine UK works like that anyway.

Apparently, it's 12 bottles and they seem to be priced between $9.99 and $17.99. I'm good with that!

Mom sent me some money (lots of money!!!!) for my birthday so I wanted to share. I was going to give more, but found out just the other day that we are not getting paid today. Still working. No pay. So I just have to be careful in case I end up laid off. Love you all

Thanks. I'll see how things look in a few weeks to see if I can do more. I just remember too well how just delaying my payday would have been such a hardship for me. So many are struggling these days

I thought so too, mentioned it to a few other people at the agency and they didn't seem to think much of it, just worried about when we'll get paid. But they're all near the headquarters (we all work from home but there is an actual office location that I think they are downsizing) in Missouri so maybe it's OK with Missouri labor laws?I believe the new small business loan is given only if you don't lay off anyone so they applied for that loan but like everything else in this regime, I'm sure it's fucked up.

Didn't think I would be affected financially by this because I work from home for an agency abstracting medical data for hospitals. But apparently they're all dying because most of their revenue is from elective surgeries.

So even though one of the hospitals I contract with is in a red state whose governor is a piece of shit (GA), the hospital has been doing all the right stuff and canceling elective surgeries and that's probably the case in most hospitals throughout the country even if they have stupid as shit governors. So the agency is not getting paid by the hospitals.
