Speaking of cats (I was, a few minutes ago, trying to and keep up ffs) Miss Demeanor has mastered the feline “Pet me/DON’T PET ME” vibe.

Boom, got the 50 meals packaged and out the door. Hopefully they will still be warm when they arrive.

Found out from the guy who picked up that this batshit state house rep Lisa Standeridge is snooping around and claiming they are "human trafficking" because their org gives rides to unhoused people so they can get to doctors appointments and stuff. It's so stupid.

Monica Lewinsky hosts Josh Johnson on her podcast. If you like his comedy, this is more personal and very thoughtful. His discourse on AI is brilliant.

meanwhile in Florida—Fucked up Fishback is still at it…

If elected, groyper gubernatorial candidate James Fishback will impose Christian nationalism on Florida because "none of our Founding Fathers were Jewish, none of our Founding Fathers were Hindu, none of our Founding Fathers were Muslim": "This country was built on Christian values."

LET'S FIX VOTING

1) Candidates must delineate all their policy positions in writing, to be held in a secure space, unseen by the public. No campaigning. No advertising.

2) The voting public shall be clearly and objectively informed of Clearly Articulated Policies and the Effect these shall have upon their lives, the life of the nation, and the good of the world.

3) Voters will then vote for Policies, not Persons.

4) Candidates best matching the policy winners are then installed as government officials. Their sole task is to execute the policies as voted upon by the majority.

5) Deviation from their written commitments carry sentences ranging from 10 years imprisonment to death by automated stoning.

Needs tweaking, but let's get started!

Seems like it'd be much simpler to pass a Constitutional Amendment providing for voter initiative and referendum.

UEFA may consider boycotting future World Cup competitions if FIFA goes through with a planned equity sale (and of course the Kushner family is involved).

"UEFA is accelerating efforts to hold an emergency meeting of its 55 member associations this week, sources told ESPN, to discuss plans, including a potential World Cup boycott, to oppose a FIFA proposal to raise $20 billion from a sale of equity to outside investors.

As part of a plan to 'unleash the commercial potential and opportunity that FIFA has,' FIFA president Gianni Infantino said the game's global governing body will seek investors to fund the FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE), a newly formed body, which would take control of commercial and event operations, including future editions of the men's and women's World Cup.

FIFA is working with J.P. Morgan while investors would include Thrive Eternal launched by Joshua Kushner, whose brother Jared Kushner is a son-in-law of U.S. President Donald Trump.

UEFA issued a swift riposte to the plans on Tuesday, saying that the sport 'isn't FIFA's to sell.'"

https://www.publicnotice.co/p/trump-gas-prices Trump is discovering that the perception that the President controls oil prices cuts both way. When you promise to lower prices, you have to deliever.

Its the communist (talk about pulling out an old trope) that are raising gas prices. Not the beautiful and lovely ones like North Korea or China, but the evil ones like that single black mom in Detroit that votes for a democrat!!!!

Psyker....you have to update your flow chart white board. "Iran is full of stupid terrorists" today. "Friday they will agree to end the war"

Trump, 3 GOP Senators Tell John Thune To Keep Senate Open Until SAVE Act Is Passed

"President Donald Trump and three Republicans senators called on Senate Majority Leader John Thune to cancel the chamber’s summer recess until the Safeguard America Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act is passed.

Trump, Republican Utah Sen. Mike Lee, Republican Florida Sen. Rick Scott and Republican Florida Sen. Ashley Moody said the chamber should cancel recess until the election integrity bill passed. Any senator could object to the upcoming recess that would last until mid-September."

Performatively underwhelming
