"Activists gather at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C., waving ‘Team Algae’ and ‘Go Algae’ signs during a bizarre ‘pro-slime’ demonstration"
I was watching Clark mayhem. He found my Jersey Mike's sandwich wrapper and ran off with it before I could stop him. I managed to chase him down and get the wrapper back. He must really love tuna or something. I really need to ice my back now.
Today, I paid just over $4/gallon to fill up my car, for a whopping $35.62.
I’ll note that my gas-electric hybrid had half a tank of gas on the 1st day of the Iran war, and this is the first time I’ve put gas in it since then. I guess I can put my fuel savings towards that new roof.
As a renter? No, but funny that you mentioned it.. we have a roof leak the landlord has been working on for about a month. So I can be grateful, but also 😬
Lewis don't know shit about f-stops and ISO numbers. He just does it intuitively. Just like I always wished I could do it. I have to do all of the hard work making my photos not suck. Lewis makes me jealous.
I'm glad I had both Nikons here at Workstation. Lewis and then Clark were also trying to unplug my USB cable while the N6II was uploading. They are now trying to pull the cable off of my D7200.
That is sweet. I'd really love the 14-24 Z. Simba still won't lend me any money. I was even giving him good currency exchange tips that he was using and he still won't loan me money.
I'm still paying for it as well. Simba and Feller wouldn't lend me money either, and that's after I showed Feller how to use a Raspberry Pi Pico to steal Hyundai key fob remote unlock codes.
Its how I sit in the chair that's the problem. I tend to slump when I set. I'll slump until my butt isn't on the seat anymore. I have some paracord with which to make a "seatbelt" so that I sit up straight. I've slumped in my chair like a sumbitch all my life. Now my age is catching up with me.

I worship Julia Garner.
She's very... curly.

We all know what the logical next step is for the trump family and the Reflecting Pool debacle.

Holy mackerel, Starmer's announcing resignation tomorrow 😲
I thought they were going to drag him out by his feet.
Happy Fathers Day to all you fathers and acting-fathers in Wonkland.

I have a plug-in hybrid and I haven't put gas in in over a year. I'm under a half tank so I'll need a few gallons some time this summer.
As a non electric car haver, it's about $30-35 A WEEK for my car.
On the plus side, you probably don’t have to put a new roof on your house?
As a renter? No, but funny that you mentioned it.. we have a roof leak the landlord has been working on for about a month. So I can be grateful, but also 😬
Lewis could not resist playing with Simba's tail. Simba is remarkably patient about that.

But then, Clark Monster got involved. Clark Monster plays rather roughly. Simba put the ixnay on that nonsense post haste.

lewis did it!
f11/reciprocal for film speed, right dada? don't need no stinkin' light meetuh

It’s good that you’re getting the crewlets used to being photographed early and often.
They are naturally photogenic. The cameras almost operate themselves. I get the credit!! (Don't let this secret out.)
I won’t tell a soul.
Clark is going to learn how to use that camera before too long.
I'm finding some reasonably good images that I didn't take. There was a note warning me of having to pay royalties if I used said images.
That is totally Simba's "I will put up with a lot but do not do that again" look
Lewis: Daaayum boy, you in trouble now!
"HAHAHA Neener neener!!"
It totally is. I was waiting for Simba to deliver a whack of loving correction but he refrained and just delivered The Look to Clark. It was enough.
The Look has the force of a hundred thwacks!
Simba has a +21 Look Of Loving Correction. He can defeat System Lords with that.
I'm glad I had both Nikons here at Workstation. Lewis and then Clark were also trying to unplug my USB cable while the N6II was uploading. They are now trying to pull the cable off of my D7200.
Is that the 105 prime I see?
Nope. That's the 16mm ultrawide. That's my favorite lens for Crew Reportage. The D7200 has my 18-140mm DX zoom on it.
16mm ultrawide - nice!
Aside - I love my 14-24mm Z mount. It is not a cheap lens.
You can shoot crazy wide like this though.

Simba knows a credit risk when he sees one.

Lewis looking at Clark like “Ooh, you’re in trouble!”
While also pulling back strategically so as to avoid any crossfire.
I can't figure out Lewis's pose. I'm thinking it's ultrawide lens distortion.
"Neener neener on youUUU, Clarky!!"
I was planning on going to bed to ice my back.
Then this happened:

And then Simba came over trying to climb on my gut. He's on the Workstation purring now. I'll ice my back later I guess.

I mean, it would be hard to step away from the snuggly beasties, but I bet they’d follow you to bed.
Have you tried something like this? I use it to ice my lumbar spine and it stays in place well.

Thanks!! I was looking for something like that but wanted to get a recommendation in from somebody I now. I just ordered a set on 3 hour delivery.
You can use the 2 inserts for either heat or cold, but I just keep both inserts the freezer so I always have a cold one available. Hope it helps!
Changing my chair totally saved my back.
I mean, it's still fucked, but I'm not in constant pain any more.
You're stuck now and they know it.
Cats know. (adorable)
Breaking: Tramp to built wall around Reflecting Pool and make Mexico pay for it.
Retro!
better to build the wall around trump - or use existing prison walls
Iran will control access

You know, a normal rich family would have just given them jobs where they mostly stay out of everyone's way.
Ranked choice line?
I'm getting tired of AI slop. Oh, wait....
Very little I in that slop...
But much that is artificial.

Does Amazon do drone deliveries in Russia occupied Ukraine? Maybe the Russians can order their supplies!
If I was a Russian in uniform, and I saw a laden drone coming my way...
Happy Dads' Day to all the dads, brothers, unkies, cousins, & friends who make our lives better

Happy Solstice
Sweet, cuz declining daylight from now on! I absolutely loathe daylight lasting from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. That shit's just straight up gross. :D
Enjoy A Day Of The Long Days!
I'm going back to bed to ice my back. Have a pic of the MiniCrew practicing one of their favorite hobbies.

Those guys seem to think Timeshare Chair is only for them.
They have their very own MiniCrewletstan going. Li'l Feller will come and invade it like a regular general purpose Crimea.
And...here he is.

are there sea drones involved?
All of LF's sea drones are too big to fit in the condo.
From Blue Sky:
The women have won four World Cups, but absolutely congratulations to the men for making it to the knockout round.
Yes, this is a reminder that the USA has, in fact, won a World Cup — four of them. In case you heard otherwise.
I don't follow soccer or the World Cup at all (which is kind of sacrilege here in the UK) but last night at the pub, some guy we kinda know came over to our table and congratulated me on the USA team making it to the knockout round. I was like, "Uhhhh...thanks?"
