Steven Spielberg was in the very early stages of pre-production for a medical movie (based on a Michael Crichton novel) when he heard about the "Jurassic Park" book. He subsequently dumped what he was doing to make this movie. Afterwards, he returned to that script and helped develop it into what successful TV series?
Don’t know if anyone else has mentioned this, but the kid that was the granddaughter in JP is the same kid that was always on the pogo stick in Tremors. And, I think, the kid that was the grandson in JP is the actor that portrayed Eugene Sledge in The Pacific miniseries
No, the pogo stick kid was the daughter of the woman that was the potter. Never could figure out who the obnoxious boy was related to. As far as I can remember, the victims of the worm things were the man up on the utility tower, the sheep herder, the two road workers, the retired couple and poor Walter, the owner of the general store

'Well, we're back in the car again. At least we're out of the tree.'
(I suspect I'm a bit behind.)
Alan's gotta experiment.
Love it!
What Neill’s call translates to in Dino is "I fart in your general direction"
You're mother smells of elderberries

I am pretty sure that it is correct. He also played the role of the snake-handling preacher in Justified
As a lawyer, I always loved the “fuck the lawyers” attitude of this movie.
Lawyers gotta have a sense of humor about being lawyers.
I come from a family of lawyers whose children mostly became engineers.

Everyone hates lawyers. Until you NEED one. It’s an understandable sentiment.
If they’d’ve had the T-Rex spit up, then they’d have made a statement!
Don’t mind him Clark. He’s just hacking on a bone.
Me Mum had a pretty badass pro bono divorce lawyer who helped our family a lot
But I understand the sentiment
