I finally watched Tank Girl for the first time last night and I was so disappointed. After hearing decades of hype it came across to me comparable to an extended Monkees episode. Pre-teen level humor, animation that pointlessly interrupted the narrative, too much Girl, not enough Tank...
While I'm happy for the women's basketball team win just now, A'ja Wilson talking about how "God was working today" was really off-putting. They won by one point, so I guess that God really hated the French team.
You know what makes me jealous? Everything in the world related to "avocados". And they are now literally EVERYWHERE.
I am violently allergic to them, but everyone else gets to enjoy their amazing healthy fats and ubiquitous presence on menus. My family gets them in smoothies and salads and guacamole.
It makes me sad to miss out on them. And I have very few food allergies, so I feel extra bad for people with really severe food allergies and health conditions. Be happy while eating those delicious, healthy avocados, and raise a slice to me for missing out if you are so inclined.
