Hot handsome husband described it as Mexican prog, which tracks. They had a new double album for sale, and these vinyl freaks bought it and had it signed. Yesterday was a great day. Not only was it beautiful outside, but Rosh Hashanah service at All Souls Unitarian church was lovely. We were hungry when it ended, and found a Mahmoun's very nearby. Then we walked up to the Guggenheim to experience Yayoi Kusama's lights and mirrors, then to Central Park to meet up with Shul members for Tashlich. where turtles ate our misdeeds. After singing, dancing, and prayer, we took a bus back to the East Village where we snacked, had a nap, then walked to Joe's Pub, where from our corner table we had an unobstructed view of their guest artist: a vision-impaired guitarist who simultaneously plays harmonica and absolutely shreds! He came on stage to do one song then was asked to stay for the rest of the set. Amaze, amaze, amaze! Sweetheart husband made tea and luscious fruit bowls; he's the best. Good day, beloved Wonketteers. We love and appreciate you all and we bless us all with love, health, peace, and grace.
Please, please stay safe. Wear a mask or two, wash your hands, sanitize when you cannot wash and let the sanitizer dry completely, stop touching your face, take Vitamin D, get a booster shot six months after your last, catch up on any other vaccines you need, and get any kids in your family vaccinated as well, and stay the fuck away from us and anyone with whom you do not share a roof. Do this because you love yourself, and because we love you, too. Do this in memory of 27 Club member Treg, Holly's heroic pilot friend Tony, Dolly Parton, who put up a million dollars of her own money to make the Moderna vaccine possible, and nearly eight million dead worldwide, possibly including Gav, who had long COVID. Do this to honor the nurses and other frontline medical personnel (we love you, medicos of Wonkette, from student to active to retired), especially ICU Hera Mrs Land Shark RN. Stay safe.
