I've actually never seen this movie, although some of it was shot in my neighborhood. (Bill Murray's house is down the street, and I think this is the one I discovered a tank on the court square one day driving home from work. That may have been 'Walking Dead,' though.)
I loved this movie. When I first saw Woody Harrelson on Cheers, I never thought he'd become such a great actor. The revelation in this movie about his character's actual big loss, just broke my heart.
Here's the problem with polls this cycle: They usually based on obsolete data. When you look at any poll, scroll down. Find the "weightings" section. Check the party, gender and age cohorts. Any poll that uses dates for those before 2020 do not take into account Jan 6th, the Dobbs decision or any of the insanity that is coming from PABs mouth. Most polls do this - have to do this - because there have not been that many elections since then. MAGA is simply pushing out a ton of fake polls too and the media is just throwing those on the pile. Take every poll with a healthy dose of salt.
I read an article where some political dude said two or three months ago that the GOP would be vomiting up as many fake polls as they could towards the end of the campaign and that seems to be exactly what they're doing.

So my ankle monitor just started buzzing. It buzzes 3 times every 5 minutes when there is any kind of alarm on the device. This normally means that it needs charging, even when it is fully charged, but IT IS FULLY CHARGED RIGHT NOW. This happens at least once a week. Naturally I called the company, but it's Sunday and nobody answered, so I sent an email. If the battery dies, the court always blames the individual and sends them back to jail. So I plugged the damn thing back in again, and in 5 minutes it buzzed to tell me it was fully charged.
So if you don't hear from me again this week, you will know why.
The monitoring company would have to report in writing to the judge that I am out of compliance, which they won't do because they know me, but it's still a threat that has been hanging over my head all the time for the past 3 years. It's unbearable.
State statutes require it for everyone out on bond unless they get a "personal recognizance" bond, which the Attorney General's prosecutor would not agree to. Also, personal recognizance bonds are almost never granted in murder cases. The AG objected to the whole bond motion, even though we made it very clear at the bond hearing that my medical diagnoses mean I would die in jail in only a few weeks. That's what kind of monsters they are.
My only comfort is that Dump is such a chaotic moron, he will ruin the economy, and we might finally break the GQP's bullshit "we're better for the economy" talking point. Of course a large portion of the morons will blame Biden for Dump's shitty economy.

I was reading Missouri AG Andrew Bailey's Press Releases website yesterday, and I noticed that he never puts DATES on any of his online press releases. I was interested in a case he posted about on Twitter in which he "obtained a conviction" and I wanted to read the details, so I looked up the press release.
It was then I noticed that NONE of his press releases include any date. This conviction could have happened a year ago, for all you can tell from the press release.
This is interesting. If our fast paced, go-go world, a lot of companies have shortened or just used initials to modernize their names. Kentucky Fried Chicken -->KFC. Dunkin' Donuts__> Dunkin', Dairy Queen-->DQ. I just read that they are changing the name of Twinkies to Twinks.
