A few years ago in Austin my piano teacher there, Betty Mallard, asked me what I was thinking about for repetoire. I told her I really wanted to study the Op 111. She immediately got embarrased and immediately stared at her shoes trying to think of someting polite to say. So eventually she just said - to her shoes - "The Opus 111 - is - SO- hard"."Ok Betty I get it I'll take that as a no."
Sat night We watch the movie on our own TVs or device and snark with each other in the non comments.9PM Eastern time6Pm Pacific timeWe all get together on Sat nite Open Thread then ziggy will cue us all when to start the movieShe will post to cue up just before 9pm/6pm.
Oh and just one moar thing!If anyone has an idea for a movie you would all like for us to watch together, post to ziggy for consideration.
True story: Last summer it was impossible to find a groomer, I swear. I was chatting up all the people at the park with their doodles out asking, "Is that your doodle? What a great looking doodle! Do you know a good groomer? All the good doodle handlers are booked and my doodle really needs some grooming!"
I am feeling better today. Took a long nap and am no longer feverous. How did it go on Boston Common?
