I remember way back when the Heritage Foundation was a respectable conservative thinktank. I also remember when the Federalist Society was filled with some of the sharpest minds in Conservatism, Inc. Both have turned into stools, idiots and apologists for the MAGA (bowel) movement.
I guess most things eventually get corrupted and proceed to rot away. Even so, I cannot remember anything that spoiled as fast as the New GOP. Granted, they stepped onto the slippery slope under the manipulations of Newt Gingrich, and it began speeding up during the Tea Party's asshattery, but the slide over the past eight years has been staggering. The RINOs are stinking more than five day old fish left on a kitchen counter in the middle of Summer in the Sonoran Desert.

I saw it coming, You did the right and brave thing. I was reading newspapers in the 1940's. I've seen a shitload of defeats and losses but none bigger than this Supreme Court's horrors.
