The rural/urban divide in this country is only getting worse. If you're from California you already know that your 2 senators and 39+ million citizens are negated by the 44 senators and their total of 39 million of citizens in the 22 least populated states according to the 2020 census. The 22 least populated states have a total population equal to California's, but 22 times the number of senators. This will only get more lopsided.
Sinema has said in interviews that she isn't that concerned about Democrats holding the Senate majority, because she will be able to cut deals either way.
You know that one friend who refuses to dress their age and still tries to look like a teen well into their 40s? The one who insists it makes them look good while everyone else tries to gentle tell them to stop shopping in Juniors even if it does fit? That's Sinema and a good demonstration of what's wrong with her. She wants to still pretend she's in the period of her life when dressing whacky/zany/kawaii everywhere is fine, doing rando stunts like the curtsy in the workplace isn't going to reflect on her professionally and being vapid and shallow was in. In other words, she's just as fine pretending she's 20 years younger as she is with buying the fantasy the GQP is selling her. Her reality isn't our reality because in ours she's older with more responsibilities and needs to make a monumental decision to help save the nation. Nope - back to the cutie-pie stage where McConnell won't shiv her in the back the second he can and she can pull off earrings from Claires.
I’m all-in with however people wanna dress. I’ve always been a comfortable clothes guy, even when I was doing my bad impression of Tom Petty or Huey Lewis (They’re identical except one wears a T-shirt under a nice Harris Tweed Sport Jacket, and the other wears an Oxford that’s been washed a few hundred times under it. Nice old and comfy Jeans and Red Low-Top Converse required for both. Pink Socks are cool to), but yea, she’s an uncreative poser that looks like she Exploded in a Candy Store.
You know what might keep Republicans from doing that down the line? Un-gerrymandered districts that don't elect the most extreme people on the right or left, forcing Congress to reflect the population.
Gee, if only there was some bill that might accomplish that!
How about the question of you're bogus links? That's what I asked about. Neither of which say what you claim. I know you, and most people really, rely on no one following the links and just taking your word that they say what you claim they say.
Not likely to happen, the rightwingnuts aren't the only ones who use gerrymandered districts. Get rid of it and the voters will start electing actual progressives like Alexandria Ocasio, and the Clinton/Pelosi 'Third Way' Democratic "leadership" will not allow that.
We know Chinman and Sinema have both been recipients of the Koch Brothers Ind. many cash giveaways and big prize awards for subverting democracy. I don't hold much hope for either dipshit to come around.
That's insane! That's one thing they *claim* they'll take here. Who knows, though.

Remember that weird curtsy she made when she voted against a federal minimum wage?Yeah, there's definitely something wrong with her.
Who is Enima? IMO, a fucking asshole like that dipshit Manchin.

Don't hold out hope with that one.
That's exactly what they are thinking.

Are you a congress critter? Or the Prez?

Yea… sigh…

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; she just looks way too much like a ‘Karen’ trying to be cool.

Yup. Down from double digits the last time he ran.
