Whenever right-wingers are reacting to anything, or just talking in general, I feel nothing but disgust and anger. Every time I think those sociopathic, bigoted, shit-chomping fuck-knuckles couldn't possibly get any worse, they sink even lower and prove me wrong.

Maybe it was just the bridge's karma for being named after a shitbird who helped slave catchers kidnap freedmen in free states. He was the go-to lawyer for that whole sordid business.

Their barge is the Dolly, after Mrs. Madison, thank you very much. No Black people allowed on board, except in the hold and in chains, because they like *some* DEI a lot.

I'm surprised they didn't go with a bunch of ANTIFA took sown the bridge because it's named after a supporter of slavery!

I demand to know what pronouns that boat uses. Is the boat a “she” as all good Republican boats are, or has the boat given in to the woke mob and become a “they” or, even worse, an “it”? Or is it, worst of all, a “he” or a Surrealist OR BOTH??!!

Probably Fox News should have a weeklong special on it. I’ll call the My Pillow guy.

A white man was Speaker of the House when the bridge crashed, so this proves white men are responsible.

Alex Wagner reminded us that when a bridge collapsed in Minneapolis in 2007, the House immediately voted 421-0 to provide funding.

Congratulations, MAGA. You finally did it. You made us nostalgic for the Bush era.

These stupid chucklefucks are STILL promoting false and baseless conspiracy theories on social media TODAY. Because that is what they do. Lie their faces off.

“Duly elected incumbent” was a thing of beauty. As a B’more homegirl, couldn’t be happier to have Gov/Mayor in place to show ‘Murkans what Maryland Tough/Baltimore Strong is all about. Know what’ll be telling? Our Delmarva Congresscritter, whose district is weirdly gerrymandered over both sides of the Chesapeake, is Andy Harris (R-freakazoid caucus). Let’s see how hard he works to restore normalcy to his constituents…likewise, Hogan, who Claire McCaskill is calling out right now…

Bolling's Tom the Dancing Bug strip is savage on the subject of DEI this week. Read it. https://boingboing.net/2024/03/27/tom-the-dancing-bug-d-e-i-is-weakening-america-and-its-got-to-go.html

I don't think these peckerheads are too crazy about surrealist art, either.

Baltimore’s mayor gave an excellent interview to NPR yesterday where he called out everyone who suddenly ‘turned into a structural engineer overnight’ for their completely unhelpful and uncalled for conspiracy theories and armchair quarterbacking. It was so refreshing to hear him push back on the bullshit.

With cargo ships getting bigger and bigger, these kinds of accidents are more likely to happen. While the US can probably not see much disruption to the supply chain with one major port closed for a while (how long, donno), between the problems with the Panama Canal being too narrow (and without enough water) and the Suez out of action for a time, the Mexican cross isthum rail/port project is likely to be much more important to the US than people realize. Too bad it's almost never talked about in the US.
