I am definitely a "meet and adopt" kind of cat person, I'm petting Rocky the Cat, she chased me home one cold October night 7 years ago and never left. She was already spayed, and I think Blue (the orange one) is as well. Broken housecats kind of have a thing for me.
I feel you, as the tallest girl in my class in elementary school--all the "cute" girls and the cutest boys were shorter, so I was treated like "Mom", even though I wanted to be glamorous.
