The Republican outreach program is sure making headway! I wonder just how low they are hoping to take public opinion?

<i>"Taranto is one of those Wall Street Journal columnists..."</i>

Word arranging. How does it work?

It takes him five hours to write a column too. (Down from nine hours before he got spell-check.) He's wondering if he's overpaid. (Yes.)

Taranto is basing his opinion on the fact that he's never been able to produce 900 publishable words.

...please excuse James Taranto, since most right-winger have hard time piecing together a sentence containing more than 4 words. This makes it nearly impossible for them to understand how anyone could write 900 words

...do words spelled incorrectly count?

Sadly, the WSJ style manual used to give writing tips but now it mostly just says not to wear white after Labor Day and which plaids it's ok to combine.

<i>So we are supposed to believe that somehow in less than five hours a woman who has severe impairments of her motor and speech functions was able to produce 900 publishable words and put in an appearance in the White House in the course of it.</i>

And yet George W. gets a free pass for doing the same thing.
