Yeah, a LOT of people complained about the usage of "Ms." when women in the 1970s began saying this is how we want to be addressed (not "Mrs." or "Ms."). "how do you pronounce it," "it doesn't roll off the tongue," "why do we have to change." It actually took YEARS for male-run media to finally agree to use it, or even to refer to women by their last name, same as men. Rule of thumb: when a group of people designate the way they prefer to be named, it's not up to you to refuse.

The other problem was Patrick Leahy decided to stick with the damn blue slip rule which resulted in seats that could and should have been filled staying open.

I don't think when it comes to judges they are going to play hardball too much unless it's nominees from their state.

They also expect Democrats to honor norms while Mitch McConnell and Orrin Hatch can break all the rules in the book with no pushback.

Also: they talk about what Dems are doing in terms of “violating the constitution.” Which is much more serious.
But for republicans they discuss what they’re doing in terms of “breaking political norms.”
