It would be so nice if some journalistic entity, of the real and legit sort, did a big expose backgrounder on Laura Ingraham. Lately she has been making headlines with her horribleness about this, Parkland, something else recently that I forget what it was. She’s one of the heavy duty enablers of trump world. It would be nice to see something like that in the 'quality' press. Or on 60 minutes. One can dream.
I appreciate your work, 5$F, and I can't disagree that airing these cretins out is integral journalism. A big part of me wishes we, as compassionate, thinking humans, could let these freaks scream it out with each other in their own void, and deplatform them by giving zero attention or analysis to their bullshit. I see a lot of this as the right's own version of "PC". With climate change in particular, there were intelligent criticisms of early and oversimplified models (What I personally thought of as a "blame cars crowd"), but they ended up being ignored by both sides.
