Bless everyone in Virginia who worked on this, as it made my day.

53% of Texas voters voted for Ted Cruz, but he's a turd to 100% of them.

I was born in Virginia and have lived here most of my life. It still feels absolutely wild that the friggin' *capital of the confederacy* is now gerrymandering to help black voters.

It’s like these people never come within three miles of population density higher than a small village. Eg, charlottesville. Or this vote, even Danville. I see their trumpabilia all the time when I drive five minutes out of town, but it’s like they never do the reverse. Maybe there’s some teleportation or memory loss involved.

They seem so myopic that they simply cannot fathom that people, regular people with a brain, are pissed and do not want to see their democracy shrivel. Clueless isn't even the word for it all.

If you want to pay attention to the propagandist of the proven rapist Trump, they are all saying this was a very close election, which means it doesn't count. Just to make sure you understand the numbers:

The Virginia election passed 51.%% to 48.%%.

The greatest landslide in the history of this country was by the proven rapist Trump in 2024, where he won, wait for it, 49.8%-48.3%.

So, we all should start referring to the Virginia election as the greatest landslide for democracy ever. And, heck, it even got a majority of the votes, something the proven rapist Trump never did.

I like the way you put things.

How can this be, I heard Trump say that we shouldn't vote to allow the Democrats to redistrict.

One of the main things that the Democrats need to push for in their run up to the election is an actual national voting reform that protects all Americans. Require all states to have non-partisan redistricting committees that draw districts based upon making them as even as possible within simple geographic boundaries. Congress should also move protect mail-in voting and push to make it as easy as possible for people to vote.

Along with trust busting, taxing the rich to return their ill-gotten gains under Trump to the American people, and having a government that puts the people first ahead of the President's vanity, and holding all the criminals in government and business who have been feasting on the corruption of the proven rapist Trump's administration accountable for their crimes should be the platform every Democrat runs on.

Substack is broken.

We've substituted angel dust for the Substack chinchilla's regular meth. Let's just see if anyone notices.

"Something went wrong." Something did? Something, huh? Is it possible to determine what that "something" is, Substack? Maybe write code that isn't inferior to a Speak n' Spell?
