It's worth noting that there are a number of new series that will be available to stream that were brought on only because writers are out; other options were created long before the strike.
Perhaps avoiding the series that were brought on to try and break the writers/actors is the way to go.
Interesting that Adam Conover wonders if he should boycott ''Barbie'' and ''Oppenheimer"...
Meanwhile WHY THE FUCK is MSNBC giving Morning Schmoe Scarberia* more time, in this case these ''Mourning Jerk Presents" ay 8PM (Eastern) occasionally on Mondays. Part of the reason this links to the story above in that tonight's show was advertised as being about ''Oppenheimer" with two of the stars. Note that the film is from Universal which like MSNBC in owned by reich-wing Comcast.
But then the show started with regular news about Trump, and there was only about 20 minutes of plugging the company's movie, and then other news at the end.
Are they planning a takeover of th 8-9 hour and getting rid of Chris Hayes? Is he suddenley MSNBC''s Fucker Snarlson? As it is, Blow Scarfburner already has 3 or 4 hours in the morning where he makes people who are actuallly drinking coffee sick while drinking in his swill.
Adam Conover is not wondering if he should watch "Barbie", he was answering **someone else's** question as to whether **they** should boycott Barbie. Hope that clears up that one question in your mind.
Scarberia is what many in the Greater Toronto Area (and elsewhere) call the not-so-desired city of Scarborough, which is the real last name of the MSNBC moron.
I have also been to Vancouver, but only once, but I do know a bit about the area, and I think I heard of Surrey's reputation, unless Chilliwack is worse.
Also been to Victoria and Vancouver Island - very beautiful.
But then on my way back home my car died in Cache Creek, and it and I had to be towed to Kamloops!
Also saw on a two-lane road going downhill what I thought was a deer. As I got closer I realised it was as wide as the road.
I slowed down and it fortunatrly walked away. First time I ever saw an elk!
Hope you don't get any of them in your neighbourhood...
He has a streaming series on Netflix (I think) where he partnered with Barack Obama to show all the positive things government's doing for people that the public doesn't know about.
I didn't really "plan" to boycott Oppenheimer, until I found out it's directed by Christopher Nolan, a.k.a. "The Thinking Man's Michael Bay." Such a serious subject for a film, and I bet it looks and feels like another goddamn Batman movie.
Similar messages from Wil Wheaton and Diane Duane on Tumblr. It's okay to continue to watch content - in fact encouraged, since the actors writers who do get residuals still need to be paid, and it shows that the content they produce is valuable.
I'm going to see both Barbie and Oppenheimer. I guess this is going to keep all the actors away from SDCC next weekend. Oh well, I hate waiting in lines for panels anyway.
Actors may be able to do photo-ops and sign autographs (as those are considered "personal appearances"), but panel work is out.
A lot of conventions are trying to either get guidance or waiting to see if a deal is struck before they start adjusting (a friend of mine said a Vampire Diaries convention this weekend has to enforce stringent rules prohibiting fans from asking questions about the show to actors).
I read a thing at the weekend where someone said to absolutely not stop watching TV/streaming etc. because if people do that then it gives the studios and streamers ammunition to say they don't have money to pay people (other than their executives ofc). The lying feckers. I hope the strike goes on until whichever billionaire talked about people losing their houses loses one or more of his damn houses.
Thinking about what's going on in this and I am remembering a certain Senator from Utah's company that pulled this shit with the businesses they bought out.
Buy WB and then cancel everything. Make a profit on the tax-write off.
I haz a confuse. Whar Tabs? If this some stack thing I haven't figured out yet?

Free Chris Hayes!
*I'm sure some Canadians will get this

"No clue." -- This Particular Canadian

Oh! I am from the West Coast, have heard of Scarborough, but did not know its reputation. To use an analogy, is it your Surrey?
Well, I am an American from New York state, but I have been to Toronto many times over the years. I know it very wall, as I do Ottawa, Montréal, and other places.
I have also been to Vancouver, but only once, but I do know a bit about the area, and I think I heard of Surrey's reputation, unless Chilliwack is worse.

No elks, but sometimes peacocks, and plenty of deer and raccoons!
Maybe it was a moose, then!
Hey does Adam Conover still have a show? I used to watch it.
He has a streaming series on Netflix (I think) where he partnered with Barack Obama to show all the positive things government's doing for people that the public doesn't know about.
Well that's interesting and novel.
the WGA strike shirts I was seeing on the picket line were so lame, I designed my own.

Haven't done a SAG design yet.
Will see 'Oppenheimer' in IMAX tomorrowz

Whattsamatta, Tim Burton wasn't available?
Tim Burton couldn't figure out how to write daddy issues into the movie.
You mean I'm supposed to let my big chance of becoming a screenwriter just disappear?
Neil Gaiman's Tumblr page has become Strike Info central, and it's been an invaluable resource. He had the same advice as Adam Conover.

Dammit, and they JUST asked me to start in the remake of Ace Ventura 2: Now with even more astonishingly racist crap.
Thank God. I’ve been obsessed with the Barbie movie ever since I saw the first trailer. I’ve of my friends is reserving a whole theater.
I'm going to see both Barbie and Oppenheimer. I guess this is going to keep all the actors away from SDCC next weekend. Oh well, I hate waiting in lines for panels anyway.

I waited in line for an autograph once, eight freaking hours for Carrie Fisher. Never again.
Well, she is dead, so that makes sense!
And it only took her eight hours to sign her name! Seems pretty limber to me.

I would start watching TV again if Robyn starred in a remake set in the 30s with great costumes and sets and evil Nazis to murder
Like The 39 Steps? That would be super fun to watch. How's your Scottish accent, Robyn?
She's from Rhode Island so hers is close enough 🤣
But she spent years in Rochester, NY, so she probably has a Western NY accent
What is this TV of which you speak?
It's that really big flat thing you play video games on...I think.
Thinking about what's going on in this and I am remembering a certain Senator from Utah's company that pulled this shit with the businesses they bought out.

Remember that it was us being mean to him that made everyone vote for Trump.
