Many, perhaps - as a sine-tist I'd think that the RWNJ incidence is a bit higher among engineers than among scientists. Here's my physics professor from Haverford College back in the day:
I am a scientist and have major problems with a nation governed by a lot of people like me. Supporting individual scientists is a great plan, but making a generalization, having significant scientific skills almost guarantees a low probability of possessing a significant administrative and personnel skill set. The scientific chaps with great administrative skills that I have worked with were almost 100% major league, selfish, egotistical dicks.
Neil deGrasse Tyson impresses me as an exception to my generalization, and without a doubt there are others.
More dicks than a Richard Nixon cosplay convention. That's a mess of dicks.
Yes, very rare.
I like baseball. It's a fun game to play and watch. Like darts. :)
Engineers are actually statistically much more likely to be wingnuts than scientists are.

But I'm sure you still are smarter than they are.

Go Jess Go! She's a delight on Twitter! And my internet handle is the same as her last name! That's completely irrelevant but vote for her anyways!
The old definition works, and that fits the GOP to a T.

Yep. As an engineer, I am surrounded by RWNJs. I "fondly" recall a boss who sincerely believed that wind turbines change the weather.
Testing to see if my new Twitter account is linked here.
Normay libelz!
Electing more scientists is a great idea, although I'd settle for electing people with two brain cells to rub together and start a fire.
Oh god yes. The Sting especially was just so yummy- between him and Redford, my teenage girl hormones went into overdrive.
