"they provoke the culture of the nation that they are in, and they want the nation to adopt."

So, pretty much like Xtard fundagelicals in the USA. What was his point, again?

Here's an interesting website that gives stats for homicides, gun homicides, suicides, ownership percentages, etc. <a href="http://www.gunpolicy.org/fi..." target="_blank">" rel="nofollow noopener" title="http://www.gunpolicy.org/firearms/compare/66/rate...">http://www.gunpolicy.org/fi... I'm so tired of the delicate feelings of the religiously inclined. Most of us are adult enough to avoid something that offends us, rather than to take action to ensure its removal.

Also - to the religiously inclined who are also extreme in their views: FUCK YOU.

So General McDumbass wants everyone, everywhere to hold Islamic fanatics' feet to the fire, JUST LIKE CHARLIE HEBDO DID and he thinks there will be no repercussions or retaliation from said fanatics for that?

There are times when the cops DO carry guns. Those machine-gun-toting forces at the French airports are terrifying. And I've seen them carry guns at some large public protests, although maybe those were pellet guns or tear gas guns (hey, what do I know about firearms?)

There was an eco-activist protestor who was killed by a police stun-grenade last summer, and the public outcry and rioting as a result were unbelievable. The French do not have the same level of complacency about police homicides as many Americans appear to. Police carrying and using guns regularly would not fly here.
