Apparently we missed this SurvivorSurrender song, "Livin' Outside of God's Word," in 2009, since we were not borned to Wonkette yet. But the video seems to be new, and it is an awesome parody of silly traditional marriage peoples, like there is a thing about Adam & Eve & Bruce & Steve in there, which is just RADNESS.
I have a couple buddies who had the misfortune of being stuck on a Creed tour. They really are first class assholes, especially Scott. It wasn't you- they're douche bags to everyone....
Watched it to the end- my semi expert opinion... It's not a parody, these guys are serious (sorry Trix). What they are not is talented nor self aware enough to realize just how over the top their lyrics are. They are also not representative of any sort of commercially successful Christian music. I've mixed enough of the national acts at the top of the contemporary Christian charts to know that these goofs don't stand a chance of ever being anything beyond pathetic wannabes. This is nothing more than garden variety DIY project studio garbage- whatever one may think of the notion of Xtian music, the guys at the top of the various genres are talented musicians and skilled songwriters- these guys ain't. The only reason anyone noticed them at all is simply because they're so bad they're fun to laugh at.
FWIW, I can actually lay claim to having briefly made it to top 40 Christian radio rotation a few years back for some session work I did, one of the weirder things for a wonketteer to be able to brag about...

Well, we have just recently heard (of) "Accidental Racist".
Stop now ... really. Just stop now.
As have we all. <a href="http://images.dangerousmind..." target="_blank">" rel="nofollow noopener" title="http://images.dangerousminds.net/uploads/images/f...">http://images.dangerousmind...

1:15. I kept hoping for parody.
I think I&#039;ll wait for the Kina Grannis cover version.
Yes, I know that could be a very long wait. I&#039;m fine with that.
Out-listened me by 8 seconds.
There must be a musical corollary to Poe&#039;s Law.
So, posted in 2008, and has drawn exactly one comment? They&#039;re really going viral -- as in Ebola.
What? Did Creed have a fatwa against newspapers or something?
I was old enough to be able to ignore them, and my kids hated them.
I have treasured &quot;go Rimbaud&quot; forever. And yes, I&#039;m easily entertained.
Shorter: Deconstruct <i>this</i>, Surrender monkeys.
Needs moar flamenco

20 seconds. That&#039;s all.
