One good thing about being a Dem in Oklahoma is you don't have to pay attention to Primaries since they're probably the only sane candidate in whatever race it is.

Would there have been a Black Captain in the Roddenberry era even? Very hard to say yes....

Sisko's my favorite Captain by far, across all the ST series, and not only because he's black. Yes in-your-face when he had to be, passionate and kind when he had to be, a family man/single father when it wasn't in fashion, plus they wrote in *gasp* character development as the series went on.

Not to mention the drug trip, don't remember which season. Man dat shit was nuts.

Workman also slightly resembles Martin Mull, if you needed another reason to support him.

Enterprise got good towards the end, right when it was about to get cancelled. Voyager had its moments but egads large chunks were tedious.

You've got it all wrong about Workman!! OK Dem here from the Tulsa area, which is also where Workman hails from. He is a criminal, a serial harasser/stalker, and all-around crazy. See below for proof! All of us here were HORRIFIED to see this article, as Workman is just about the most embarrassing Democrat that our fair state has ever churned out.

Not sure where you got this information from (did he himself email you? I would not be surprised), but Workman is a perennial candidate who runs for stuff (and loses big time) at every opportunity. He is also a criminal, who has been arrested for domestic assault & battery (search OSCN.net for case # CM-2011-5098), for driving without a license (search OSCN.net for case # TR-2014-00448; also google "Candidate for Labor Commissioner admits driving illegally" for an article from KRMG.com), and he's got multiple restraining orders against him (here's one: search OSCN.net for case # PO-2011-3079).

His current campaign has no volunteers and little to no money. He is constantly being reprimanded and sanctioned by the state party for harassing other candidates. The party distrusts him so much, they recently voted to deny him VAN access (voter file information; vital to contacting voters and running any kind of serious campaign). He's barred from the Tulsa County Dem HQ, although he frequently shows up and refuses to leave.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE re-think this article, as Workman is unstable and not at all who we want to represent Democrats or Oklahoma.

Workman, a candidate for Labor Commissioner that the OK State AFL-CIO refused to endorse.

A pretty good sign that someone might not be a candidate people want to align themselves with.

NO NO NO NO NO. Sean Braddy is the progressive choice in that race. Workman is not a serious candidate. He is harmful to progressives and to the Democratic Party here. Workman is the perennial candidate type with no real world experience. Please delete this article immediately before it does more harm.
