Porn Band Videos Nekkid Bass Player On Westboro Baptist Church's Lawn, Shocking No One

 
 In a fortuitous conjunction of publicity whores, Get Shot!, a California band billing itself as "the sleaziest punk band in the world," has shot a two-minute video of its bass player lying on a blanket and masturbating on the lawn of the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas -- the "God Hates Fags/America/Puppies" loonies. Internet reaction appears to span the entire range from "ha-ha" to "meh." Someone, somewhere was probably shocked, although the allegation has yet to be proved.

Bassist Laura Lush (Lydia Lunch libel!!) said in a press release on the band's sad Facebook page,

"The Phelps family and Westboro Baptist Church are ridiculous and do nothing except spread hate and cause controversy. As a bisexual woman and the bass player of a ridiculous punk band, I wanted to spread my legs and cause controversy."

Lush's greatest dreams have apparently been realized, as the band's "porn website" -- a sort ofSuicide Girls clone -- was occasionally shut down by heavy traffic Friday after Gawker covered the video stunt.
