Rand Paul: It's 'American' To Be Rude Law-Breaker, As Long As You're White

Were we not, just the other day, rolling our eyes at Sen. Rand Paul for explaining that Black Lives Matters is Taking A Stand all wrong, because those people are NOT fighting the system according to society's rules of polite behavior, and also, wouldn't it be so much better if they talked about other lives mattering, actually? Yes, we were! And we hear Black Lives Matters is so ON IT, and changing its name right now and promising to be real nice and only protest the system using tactics pre-approved by the senator.

Well. As you might have imagined, Rand Paul's Rules For Radicals is good and right for The Blacks, but it's a whole ’nother different kind of thing for, say, Kentucky court clerks who Take A Stand and also refuse to obey the law, even when the Supreme Court says, "Yes, dummy, we're talking to you." Kim Davis, the quadruple-married adulterer who birthed some out-of-wedlock harlot babies with a man who was not her husband, until she divorced and married a couple more times, and then he was, and then he wasn't again, is just being a True American, by breaking the law and also being a real rude girl-dick about it, ya see:
"I think people who do stand up and are making a stand to say that they believe in something is an important part of the American way," Paul told Boston Herald Radio during a three-day campaign swing through the Northeast.
Awwww. Many American, so tradition, much important! Kim Davis, she's like some kind of hero, like Rosa Parks, but for bigots, the way she's refusing to give up her marriage so some gays can have it instead. It's "important," what she's doing, maybe she will get to have a monument or something one day.
Not that Rand wants to talk about this, exactly. On the one hand, he doesn't want to outright endorse law-breaking, but on the other hand, he's apparently afraid to offend his potential voters (lol, yeah right, like those exist) by saying "HEY, YOU DUMB BIGOT LADY, DO YOUR JOB, LIKE THE LAW SAYS!" He's leaving that kind of straight talk to Tough Guy Lindsey Graham, who said that while he sure does "appreciate her conviction" and also thinks marriage should be NO HOMO, "The rule of law is the rule of law," and Davis needs to follow the law or drag her dumb ass to the back of the unemployment line.
Rand Paul, though, is far too "libertarian" for that, so he'd like to see his state of Kentucky, and all other states, make like Alabama "to get around the whole idea of what the Supreme Court is forcing on the states," by saying fine, NOBODY gets to do marriage now, take THAT, The Gays!
Oh, little side note for us to say "HMMMMMMMM" about:
But the pro-gay rights Human Rights Campaign points out that Paul has co-sponsored the First Amendment Defense Act, a response to the decision that would prohibit "any discriminatory action against a person, wholly or partially on the basis that such person believes or acts in accordance with a religious belief or moral conviction that marriage is or should be recognized as the union of one man and one woman."
It's almost as if Rand Paul really does think there should be a special new law so Kim Davis can be excused for the law, on the grounds of "because Jesus, that's why," even though that does not seem very libertarian of him, does it?
Here's another thing we just happened to remember because we keep it bookmarked, you never know when it's going to come in handy, which is pretty much every time you're talking about Rand Paul. After residents of Baltimore decided to Take A Stand, including with some rudeness and even law-breaking, after the mysterious death of Freddie Gray while in custody of the police, Paul did not say that well, ya know, that's just the American way, and it's important. No, he was all "the breakdown of the family structure, the lack of fathers, the lack of sort of a moral code in our society." He did not seem to appreciate how those fine Americans were stand-taking. Or maybe it's different when you are Criming While White, like Kim Davis. Or, heck, like Rand Paul's own apparently fatherless son, who keeps doing drunken crimes, but maybe that is "important" and "the American way" also. (We can't be sure because this is another one of those things -- you know, his son being a repeat thug crimer -- that Paul would rather not discuss.)

Of course, we don't know much about whether Davis's daddy was not around enough to teach her moral codes and the like. Maybe that's why she's thugging all over Rowan County right now, with her supporters encouraging EVEN MORE LAW-BREAKING, like a bunch of agitators, by saying, "YEAH, Kim Davis, you go, grrrl, you show those fagsexuals you answer to a higher authority, occasionally, on this one thing only, because those dick boils at Liberty Counsel are paying for it to promote their agenda!"
Maybe Rand Paul should just stick to talking about How To Fix The Blacks. He's so much more comfortable opining on that.
