Your editrix, in her previous life as editrix of some other dumb thing, was interviewingManson prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi once about his very smart and interesting book where he attempted to establish standing to prosecute Jorge Boosh and Dick "Dick" Cheney for murder. Oh, the smart and cogent and well-informed and insightful questions we asked! Oh, how delightful we were! Really, in that interview, we liked us a lot! But eventually our questions turned to Mr. Bugliosi's book aiming to prove that indeed Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. "ARGLE BARGLE!" said we! "Don't you know that Woody Harrelson's dad was one of the Three Tramps, and that someday in the future it will be official Wonket editorial policy that he helped kill Kennedy?"

"Oh, sweetheart," Mr. Bugliosi said, and it honestly wasn't sexist at all, just an old man being nice. "May I ..." and he paused, trying so hard not to mansplain before that was even a thing. "May I explain it to you?"

"You betcha!" said we, and then we didn't listen at all, because what a load of twaddle.

And apparently RFK Jr. agrees with us, though we're not sure if he knows about Harrelson, but he probably does.

Interviewed by Charlie Rose, along with his sister Rory, Kennedy said his father thought the Warren Commission report was a "shoddy piece of craftsmanship."

"The evidence at this point I think is very, very convincing that it was not a lone gunman," he said, but he didn't say what he believed may have happened.

Rose asked if he believed his father, the U.S. attorney general at the time of his brother's death, felt "some sense of guilt because he thought there might have been a link between his very aggressive efforts against organized crime."

Kennedy replied: "I think that's true. He talked about that. He publicly supported the Warren Commission report but privately he was dismissive of it."

He said his father had investigators do research into the assassination and found that phone records of Oswald and nightclub owner Jack Ruby, who killed Oswald two days after the president's assassination, "were like an inventory" of mafia leaders the government had been investigating.

He said his father, later elected U.S. senator in New York, was "fairly convinced" that others were involved.

Then he told a cute story about Jack Kennedy and a dead lizard.
