Waiting for concern troll to say we advocate electrocuting Trump. DO NOT ELECTROCUTE TRUMP!
Well, there's one scurrilous media lie taken out of play: Donald Trump explained Thursday there is NO WAY he is insensitive to people with disabilities, because after all, he spends millions of dollars to make sure all his buildings are accessible. So you just shut up with your criticism of him making fun of New York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski, OK? Millions. Of. Dollars.
Which are mandated by the Americans With Disabilities Act, but whatever.
In an interview with Fox Radio's Brian Kilmeade, Trump was asked about his apparent mockery last year of Kovalesky, who has a congenital condition called arthrogryposis that makes him move really funny compared to temporarily able-bodied people! Kovalesky's joint disorder looks so very amusing that Trump really had no choice but to make fun of the hilariously distorted movements of the gimpy reporter:
Well! Donald Trump will have you know that there is no way in the world he possibly could have been mocking a disabled person, because he has nothing but respect for the crippled and lame:
I spend millions of dollars making buildings good for people that are disabled, okay? Millions and millions of dollars. Do you think I’d ever do a thing like that?
Mind you, the ADA mandates all of those accessible features. It's sort of like Trump bragging of his magnanimous decision to make sure that most of his electrical wiring is up to code, because he cares. And even then, The Daily Beast reports Trump has been sued again and again for noncompliance with ADA regulations.
Oh, stop even pretending you're surprised.
Anyway, Trump then did a bunch more lying, because didn't you see who this article is about?
Trump told Kilmeade that he had been trying to portray that Kovaleski was "groveling."
"He was groveling to try and change a story that he had written many years before so that it worked out badly for Trump," he said.
He also repeated his claim that he had never met Kovaleski, even though the reporter has said he met Trump repeatedly in the 1980s and 1990s while covering the real estate mogul.
"I had no idea what he looked like. He said he met me and I knew. He said he met me in the 1980s. I had no idea," Trump said.
Yr Wonkette would like to remind commenters that our Rules for Commenting Radicals bar you from wishing a horrible disfiguring ailment on Mr. Trump. You may feel free, however, to fantasize that, after he lives a long natural life and dies of natural causes (ideally alone and unloved), he is condemned to an eternity of ironic Twilight Zone -esque torments. And try not to "ironically" slur folks with disabilities -- "short bus" jokes are inherently tasteless.
Honestly, the worst thing that could happen to this bastard would be to have self-awareness thrust upon him.
