We know that there are still many things where some menz have problems/wish there were no ladies, like in combat or on the boys' football team or whatever. However, we didn't really think that flying a plane counted as one of those things that was a super-freaky terror time for dudes because flying a plane is not really different for boys and girls. Apparently, though, there is at least one Canadian dude who is
Well, you know statistics. There are also websites with stats showing that men are safer drivers, although this one looked to me a bit more reliable than others - partly because the insurance industry is very self-protective, and I think less likely to skew stats for cultural reasons. One of those rare occasions when a purely financial bias is helpful.
I suppose if skill and safety in driving were measured only by rate of fatalities, the (possible) discrepancy in arrests would be worrisome. But I'm going to surmise that the reckless driving and DUI numbers represent nonfatal crashes with injuries, severe damage to property, and/or high risk of potential fatality. So I'm not convinced that men are being stopped for recklessness and DUI at an unwarranted rate. Culturally speaking, I'd be interested to see a racial breakdown.
What's funny is that some time ago -- say thirty years -- AA was the best of the domestic airlines. It's not that they don't learn, it's that they forget.
I wonder why they have no entry for ages 60-69, just because that's me. Also, the thirty-year age span of 30-59? 1.8 to 1.3 is a significant difference, but only 38%. I wonder what the results for ages 50-59 are.
Also (and this is just one of those things that happens when I look at statistics), it's interesting to note that the male-female ratio for every shown category of violation is higher than the male-female ratio for fatal accidents (1.33), which appears to say that males are more likely than females to get cited/arrested than is warranted by their potential lethality.

38% of what? I got lost there...
Thanks for Ted Cruz - please, just put the rest of 'em on ice floes.

Now, Ernie was probably drunk...
Oh, I thought it was because they had way bigger balls than I do. Seriously, have you ever looked at a fucking ski jump.
There are lots of trans-oceanic flights.
Ah. As far as I know, it didn't work.
Chuck E Cheese libel?

Yeah, I didn't think that was quite accurate.
I haven't been on a commercial flight for ... nine(?)...years, but even back then flight attendants were not presumably female.
Have you ever read Air Raid? This could work.
Wait. Are you actually the Bielzy Lama?
Sure we do- we elect them to the House of Commons in sufficient numbers that they form the government.
They'll want their portraits at border crossings, too!
